Some extra notes when i skimmed through the video after recording it: - Many problems derived from picking barrier instead of dep spec - r3 extra crawler a little better than mustang range in long term (at least in this kind of defensive game) - r4 upgrading sledge into the storms not that good and it prevents extra chaff deployment - r4 marksmen and previous turns means you don't have enough chaff so you cant utilize giants properly as you cant slam them naked in the frontline unprotected
Thank you! This was incredibly helpful! I had a feeling it had to do with my chaff because I kept finding myself needing to deploy chaff late when I really needed the deployment for other things. Also, formulating and sticking to the plan of this is my carry unit, this is my chaff clear and this is my chaff, because I definitely kept spreading the money out across too many units and too many techs across units. I went overlords because I was thinking he’s weak to air but now I understand what you’re saying that I basically let my mustangs be countered by not providing them a tank to keep the Vulcan busy. Thank you again for doing this, incredibly helpful! Saved me about 100 hours of banging my head into a wall. Immediately shot my MMR back to 1600 and now we’ll see if I can finally break 1700. I’m in for paid replay analysis coaching. Your ability to explain all the complexities of this game is amazing.
@@BigData13 Glad it helped! yea you really need to deploy the chaff early so you have deployments available late game to actually counter the enemy. The overlord was still borderline ok because of the enemy's weakness to air. It came down to you having the barrier item at hand and your mustangs being leveled with good items and range tech
