- This is a 125cc semi-automatic 4-speed drift trike. Most of the parts used to build this trike can be found on GoPowerSports.com. This was a complete frame up build and the video shows everything we did to make it come to life!

This drift trike was a labor of love. We have beefed up the frame since this video. Hope everyone sees it back in action soon.
How did you fix the sprocket so that it won't move did you weld it onto the axle?
@NuBz I didn’t make/own this thing but I was just wondering how it was kept in place.

Yoo I know this is late but let's just take a min to remember how badass that kick starter pull lever is. That's gangster lvl 10. Pull up anywhere on that trike and make everyone's pants drop 😂

I built one yesterday it's bad ass and easy 8 × 12 rectangular box and a 21inch down tube everything else is a no brainer

That's a really sick trike. Riding it on the street would be fun until you need to emergency stop cu the rear tires are the only brakes I could see and there just gonna slide.

Ya gota have that headset tube more straight up & down for a drift trike to really handle good. Having all the rake might look kool but it does no favors for the handling

+Go Power Sports you should check out our latest video on steel sleeves on our tires for our trike . I have never seen anyone do it and it works really well and should last 10x longer than pvc .

Did you use a semi auto 125? I'm about to build one and I'm trying to decide what 125 I want. I know I want electric start but wasn't sure if the semi auto or clutch would be better for a drift trike.

you do the chain tension just before welding the engine mounts on. after that there is no more adjustment to the chain
Any chance you might start reproducing trike frames in mass to the public? I'm a girl and can't weld or do much of anything mechanical,. but if i had a ready to go frame, I could maybe bolt in the motor and axles and chain and stuff. I think this drift trike thing would be a lot of fun to play around with in driveways and empty parking lots. Lol.

nice build, but next time you show it on the track, do what it's build for: drift! i don't know why us people show their trikes go straight forward when they have to go sideways that's why we use PE pipes and do not to burn'em standing still. its obvious that plastic has no grip ;)

Can an old belt driven 4 stroke Briggs&Straton engine be used to build a go kart? Like the ones used on those gas powered edgers? Im not looking for speed, just want something small to drive around the neighborhood
It all depends on the crank shaft. If it is 5/8 or 3/4 and has a keyway then it should be pretty easy and cheap to do.
