Boy, that project looks familiar. I started out with a Murray go kart, just as you did, but it was old-style and didn't have any suspension at all. I kept modifying it over the years and now it has a full independent suspension, big tires, and a Predator 670 engine with all of the mods in it. It's a blast to drive!!!
I have a couple questions. Why not build a little kickup into the front end since you rebuilt the whole assembly anyway? Did you consider making the top A-arm a bit shorter to increase negative camber on compression? Did you not do the unequal length arms because of bump steer issues?
Aww man, with a name like that (kilowatt) this thing deserves a proper EV conversion. I clicked on this video thinking I'd be seeing an electric off road beast!
@@averageamerican8965 bushings, no. Shocks and brakes, yes. They take brass bushings on the moving parts. I had to get them from Ebay after carefully measuring each brass bushing I use the universal chrome 12" shocks up front but they dont have anything good enough for the rear so I got some 13-3/4" HD shocks from BMI Karts and I havent bottomed it out since putting them on. I have GPS's 80t hydraulic brake kit so it can actually stop in an emergency but had to modify the frame to make it work. I highly recommend going to a hydraulic rear brake
The one Mini bike I would like to see brought Back to Life is the 🏍 Serengeti Motorsports Badger minibike with front suspension fork and rear swing arm suspension ,It looks just like the Baja doodle bug bike Nice !

That sounds like a beast of a go-kart you have.
