I was going to suggest Brooklinen on one of your moving videos! They have amazing sheets, their down duvets are great, and I also have their silk pillowcases (curly girl here). I've had mine for over 6 years and they launder beautifully. 900 sqft is HUGE by NYC standards, but yeah you are definitely paying for those pesky sqft. Yay for all those amenities!! My husband and I have separate small bathrooms in our house in NJ and let me tell you I will never go back. That setup and a housekeeper are gifts to my marriage! It’s a small apartment with 3 bedrooms but the rooftop terrace with the views are to die for. She’s close to all the happenings. You only live once. Do it while you’re young. So why not? Love it and I love how forward and forthcoming you are. The rent is a little scary but it seems worth it plus it's your first year in NY. You have to be right in the action. You can always move to Brooklyn or Hoboken next year if you guys decide you want to save - though honestly it's probably not that much cheaper if you're looking for something close to what you have.

This place is fabulous. I was expecting it to be way more tbh … we were paying $6400 a month for 2/3 the space…. I think you got an amazing place for a pretty decent “New York” price. Everything looks relatively new as well. I think it’s great! Well done. I also had a nook with pax wardrobe… New York nooks are game changers for accessory addicts.
Literally wake up every Monday Wednesday Friday and click your videos first thing in the morning. I got the schedule ingrained in my head now and look forward to the content. I’m loving the vlogs too! The only person I don’t fast forward vlogs on.

Cassie! You’re my favorite RUclipsr and I love you girl. I’m so happy you have come to live in New York City. I myself was born and raised here in New York. I currently live in the Bronx. As a New Yorker I wanted to give you some advice, real New Yorkers don’t live in Manhattan. Manhattan is more of a touristy kind of thing and it’s not where real New Yorkers live or go to live. We live in the outer borough’s and the majority of the time its a 30 min train ride to Manhattan. For the amount of money you’re spending on that apartment you can get an amazingly beautiful place with three times the space if you were to live anywhere else in ny. You could literally rent a house! Manhattan is for OLD money or extremely rich people. I’m sure you’re probably stuck now but do yourself a favor and look into different options once your lease is up. Try places in Queens. To name a few areas in Queens you have Astoria, Long Island city, maspeth… from any of these places manhattan is a 15 min train ride, guaranteed! You can also look at Brooklyn, the neighborhoods to check out there are park slope, downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg. They are super gentrified in those areas in Brooklyn and they have become super trendy and flashy. Real New Yorkers don’t live in Manhattan unless it’s in Harlem. We all live in the outer boroughs. Just give it a look see, you won’t be disappointed! 🥰

I knew NYC is expensive but 6k a month is extortionate like you said. I’m in Canada living just outside of Toronto and it’s very pricey as well. Not quite NYC prices but you can’t buy much under a million dollars any more. Never in my lifetime would I have thought a home would cost this much. Honestly the sooner you can buy something the better but I know you’re not sure where you and Nee will eventually settle down. Thank you so much for the grand tour. Your apartment is beautiful and spacious….that is a really good amount of space for NYC where the apartments are so so teeny tiny. When I visited NYC a few years ago, I saw an apartment posting for rent sign in front of the building across from Central Park and the rent was 10k to 12k back then. When you told us the amount, it was lower than what I thought it would be since it is NYC and your place comes with amenities and it looks so modern and new. I have lived in my share of run down apartments when I was struggling college student and as a new graduate and my focus now is to rent an apartment that is modern looking with a washer and dryer. My apartment doesn’t have a washer and dryer and it is a major inconvenience. I am so happy for you and Nii and the separate bathrooms is a huge plus. ♥😝

Cassie! You’re my favorite RUclipsr and I love you girl. I’m so happy you have come to live in New York City. I myself was born and raised here in New York. I currently live in the Bronx. As a New Yorker I wanted to give you some advice, real New Yorkers don’t live in Manhattan. Manhattan is more of a touristy kind of thing and it’s not where real New Yorkers live or go to live. We live in the outer borough’s and the majority of the time its a 30 min train ride to Manhattan. For the amount of money you’re spending on that apartment you can get an amazingly beautiful place with three times the space if you were to live anywhere else in ny. You could literally rent a house! Manhattan is for OLD money or extremely rich people. I’m sure you’re probably stuck now but do yourself a favor and look into different options once your lease is up. Try places in Queens. To name a few areas in Queens you have Astoria, Long Island city, maspeth… from any of these places manhattan is a 15 min train ride, guaranteed! You can also look at Brooklyn, the neighborhoods to check out there are park slope, downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg. They are super gentrified in those areas in Brooklyn and they have become super trendy and flashy. Real New Yorkers don’t live in Manhattan unless it’s in Harlem. We all live in the outer boroughs. Just give it a look see, you won’t be disappointed! 🥰

I knew NYC is expensive but 6k a month is extortionate like you said. I’m in Canada living just outside of Toronto and it’s very pricey as well. Not quite NYC prices but you can’t buy much under a million dollars any more. Never in my lifetime would I have thought a home would cost this much. Honestly the sooner you can buy something the better but I know you’re not sure where you and Nee will eventually settle down. Thank you so much for the grand tour. Hopefully your place will be fully furnished soon as you’d like it.❤️🙏

Your apartment is beautiful and spacious….that is a really good amount of space for NYC where the apartments are so so teeny tiny. When I visited NYC a few years ago, I saw an apartment posting for rent sign in front of the building across from Central Park and the rent was 10k to 12k back then. When you told us the amount, it was lower than what I thought it would be since it is NYC and your place comes with amenities and it looks so modern and new. I have lived in my share of run down apartments when I was struggling college student and as a new graduate and my focus now is to rent an apartment that is modern looking with a washer and dryer. My apartment doesn’t have a washer and dryer and it is a major inconvenience. I am so happy for you and Nii and the separate bathrooms is a huge plus. ♥😝
