Years ago have broken in a few 2 stroke engines and will make it last longer . Have had a few guys say they run it like they stole it , a few months later the engine fails and the wonder why . Now days the electronics record what your driving habits are and they can deny warranty . Good break in , my 23 year old Mariner is still running strong because of proper break in .

Piston rings dont seat when the engine is not running. Bad info. "Seating" piston rings is when they wear to match the bore. Cant do that stopped. Stopped does nothing for rings.
I get what you are saying but I feel like that wear is caused by heating the seals then cooling them. They heat up and swell then cool and contract. That is what I’m referring to. Thanks man

I like the TM foot pedal back a little for more graph room and I love the compartment layout.
