Did you have to buy different sized rubber pieces on your steer stops to fit properly? Or do the ones that come with it fit well?

I know some fiberglass guys say they cause transom damage. I'm not sure I buy into it. I have been using one for several years i like them.

Just look at the design, it puts all the weight on the transom that it is suppose to be protecting. It's trash...

Wish there something out there for older 2 strokes I have a 1999 225 ficht and I have to use the traditional transom saver

You can't use the transom mount to support the weight to protect the transom. hahaha People will b uy anything. Get you an old fashioned transom saver that puts the weight on the TRAILER.....
