A 48 in 1 wrench? Is that even possible?? It must be because I have one right here, It might not have as many sockets as a socket set but it is still useful if you don't want a complete set of sockets.

(May be ok for home use with good clearance, probably won't get in close enough to remove even a car battery)

I had one a while it’s handy for my carry tool box but if something is really stuck I get a real socket set from the van
Works fine if you got lots of room however I do HVAC work and I find this very big and bulky end up having to use regular open and box end wrenches along with sockets

I have one of these. I think Craftsman produced mine. Like all tools it has its time and place. Nice video.
48 is marketing magic word, while it is actually 4 sockets (each end) having 8 sizes (4 metric and 4 imperial), so actually it has 2 ends x 4 sockets x 2 sizes =16 sizes on 8 sockets from 2 ends.

Actually it's because each socket can open 6 types of bolt head shapes. So 4 sockets x 2 ends x 6 types = 48.

What tool you will pickup to do the same job is dictated by the access you have. Same job will be done quicker the less movements you have to perform. That being ratchet or socket impact drive.

How is it 48 tools/uses with only 8 sockets? Are they counting 6 point/12 Pont/Torx etc etc?
I suppose it's because 1 socket can handle 6 types of bolts... same sizes, but different forms. At 1:15 you can see the pale blue shapes in white circles.

I don't think the nuts and bolts will be in the comfortable places like where you worked with the nuts and bolts in the video.

its good for travel emergency tool if you don't have enough room for toolbox if you don't mind carrying box of tools maybe....if your traveling on a motorcycle and you don't want to carry your heavy tool box with you....buy as many universal tools as you can like this one....

Try to use that tool for mechanical work and it ain't going to give you good result.
I think 75% of the mechanical works will be done by the hand tools . Therefore here we can see such a works done quickly and efficiently

I don't think this is a good tool to have. If you want to open a nut and bolt in a hard to reach places the bulky head it has will never allow it to happen. A normal flat and ring spanner will have to be used.

Very heavy. Best to go with torque wrench or ratchet wrench.

His favorite word is "blimey", (does he even know what it means). No, ok, here's the truth: Its a euphemism for "gorblimey" or "God blind me" It was a bit of a wrench wasn't it!

How it is 48 in 1 . have you tried to find out ? have you tried with a square head bolt ? in confined places it is not workable as the round head of sockets will obstruct the space. You have just shown for a simple hexagonal head bolt. For any tool , I would request you explore for all types of jobs in many conditions then only you can make out whether it is more or less useful.
