Great video,,, the blue dodge car at the beginning is a town sedan and is a rare survivor.. it has the wing windows in the rear doors unlike a regular 4 door sedan..
The 59 El Camino was cool. Looked like the inner fenders, bumpers and all the crap to put it together was in the cargo area and interior. Some neat old iron there.
The newer charger looks like it could be playing to be a donor car for the older Mopar sitting next to it. I didn't catch enough of that older Mopar to see what it was. I'm sure one of you well educate Mopar guys you know your cars can tell me what it is. I like to know. Thanks
I'm liking this episode. If this is what you commonly showing your channel I need to watch it. With that being said, you could be down in Missouri and Arkansas if it's more hilly and you wouldn't know the difference! But a few other places around the country like this too. Would be a lot better off if more the country was like this. The firebird is 68 firebird no wing vents and it has the whole first side marker light. I am almost certain the little red three will car was made by Suzuki. I did not know the important them to this country! You think that one might cross the border from Canada? The 59 El Camino. If you like El Camino that's the one to have and there's nothing wrong with that that's a great builder. Just have to make sure the frame is good with that x-frame. And then the floor pans right out so badly because car sets so low before you know it it's often in dirt and mud up to it's 2 in up on the door. Now that one it might have went through that stage and for dead then it's junk. It looks like has a decent motor. I forgot arrest my comment. It's too bad don't like 53 Chevys. Well you said 49 through 52. I know it is 53 Chevy two-door Bel Air 6 cylinder unknown transmission type I Don't remember. The same guy has owned it for 30 years. Well I'm going to finish watching a video and hit the subscribe button
@@resurrectionauto5714 funny thing is 5 years ago 54 is going for a fraction of what the 52 and 50 Chevys were going for. For unexplained reasons the 54 is shot up in popularity quite a bit. Oh I like the 54 but that usually means most other people don't like what I like. It takes him years to catch up to my taste I guess. Like 68 Chevy C10 and 63 Impala convertible. Enough about that. I think I know where there's a couple of three decent 54s at. It depends sounds like you like the station wagons. You know who Mr Good pliers is on RUclips? His buddy Joe is a great source for cars on hand. Parts and builders. He also has a decent collection of pretty nice 50 through 60 two and a half ton trucks. Mainly green trucks of course they got dumping bed. Vikings series 60s. I own two of them myself. Now down around Springfield Missouri there's two maybe three good places that you'd probably find what you're looking for as a builder. One other place place that is Midway between Springfield and Kansas City. I don't mean exactly halfway. I'm being a little vague since we're on a public forum. Oh I don't want anything for the information and I don't desire to be a middleman. I'm glad help you out some information. And if I get that away there's a couple yards I want to stop back in and check myself. There's very spots in the country that I like to hunt cars. See guys all over RUclips are doing stuff that I've been doing for quite some time. Thanks for staring up the interest and giving me a bigger selling market. Anyhow to get away from major rust without buying burnt-out shells from sitting in the sun like in the Southwest even Abilene Texas and the panhandle of Oklahoma. Springfield Missouri to maybe great bend Kansas great hunting grounds. You get beyond that point the car is just burnt from the Sun but really no rush through. But in that line I drew you you get closer to Springfield more rust. Heck I know where there's a 64 Impala two-door hardtop strip down to the bare body and frame. The rear axle assembly has been sold out of it who knows how long ago. A thousand bucks. I know there's no one after $2,500 so they're about just down the road a few minutes and it's fairly complete. There's plenty of these cars out there just finding a different honey holes. But they are drying up. Anyway I'm going to watch more of the episodes I like your approach. And if you want I'll ask Joe via text about 54 Chevy car. And I can let you know what he has. I thought things off him before and plan to buy some more stuff. He's a good source of parts. Tell him what you want and he'll keep an eye out for it. There's some cars out in Nebraska and the North and South Dakota as well. But even them you get a little farther out they're kind of burnt to crisp by the Sun in the last 70 years. Not exactly Dodge City but in that area I know a guy and threw him there's four others and they've got buildings of cars. As we do everyday they've gotten older too. But they started life way before I did so they're selling. If anything wet your appetite you can reply back. All the same guy that has that stripped out 64 two door Impala hardtop has a 55 wagon maybe two of them in a couple of others. Less than whatever you might have sold. He's got a first-year cougar too. These cars aren't perfect. But they've been parked for decades.
Seeing that Studebakers don't resonate with you, still thought it worth mentioning the 54 Stude Coupe (1'55") and the 4-door '55/56 blue/white Packard (2'40") looks to be in pretty good shape; then later on in the vid, I spotted another Studebaker C/K Body with a 55 President or Speedster (2'02") also in pretty good shape - anyway, enjoyed the film. One question - which state? Thanks, Richard
@@resurrectionauto5714 Thanks - there are a couple of very good Studebaker vendors in Wisconsin... and of course, it's Green Bay Packer country! Sadly, am not able to make the game in London this Sunday
