I bought FTF Lukas on Black Friday because of your review and I gotta say. Your description of the shoe was brilliant. I love these shoes ( probably the best fashion purchase I've ever made) and I barely wear my Doucals anymore lol. I guess I just wanna thank you for the review and recommendation since no one made it as in depth as you did. Really really outstanding job.

For the price, I wish they went goodyear welt. Same with To Boot New York. Both brands have really sleek silhouette and cost about the same. I think that might be BECAUSE they use the blake stitch construction as I remember reading online somewhere that it’s hard to make good year welted boots that are sleek without it significantly increasing production cost.

hold up what size are you? I know you want to but do not cut it. save up and get a new pair. you will have a casual pair and a more dressy pair. but if you choose to take if off go to a cobbler and see if they can do it.

Hey both, can you confirm if the boot is slanted? It looks slanted.
I will say so. It is due to the angle of the heel drop and wear and tear.

Imagine these in a brown nappy suede with no harness. Crazy versatile and possibly better than a regular Chelsea boot.

Just go to your local cobbler. They should have them and be able to put the on for you!
Hey how long did you wait to put in the rubber soles ? I heard they sand them down before putting the soles on.
About a week, and yes they will usually take the staining/colored portion of the sole off. I makes the adhesive stick better and longer.
How they can copy YSL? without permission?
It’s slightly different if you compare them next to each other.
Creasing is kinda the point of leather..its what gives it the look and character.

I use Saphir Renovetor! Only the best! I would start with the neutral. If you wanna go one step firth get Saphir black wax polish for the finish.
