I remember fulfilling that order and being like who would want both a python Luca and python Enzo, but I get it now. You pretty much nailed the story and the inspo behind the brand, we've always been fans of the look and knew we could produce boots of the same quality ourselves through our contacts in Italy, though our boxes were more so inspired by the boxes Paul Smith use for their made in Italy footwear. That shearling coat is fire btw.

I love my Enzo chain harness in suede and Diegos in black leather. Amazing boots and great customer service as well. Since I bought them I barely wear any other shoes from my closet.
Received a pair with loose grain leather and was hoping to have it rectify. Customer support post-purchase is almost impossible to get hold of unless you are enquiring about size as a potential customer. Ain’t buying another pair from them even though they are well-designed. Not worth the trouble.

Hey Olly, awesome to hear that you got your boots!! Hm, I actually never found my insoles to be slippery. Did you order your regular size? I know that FTF doesn’t currently make half sizes, so if you had to size up .5 then I understand if you need an insole. I don’t have any particular brand recommendations for insoles, but I do know that they generally aren’t wildly expensive. For socks, I personally find high athletic socks with grip on the bottom to be the most comfortable to pair with boots. The grip might also do the trick for the slip issue. Check out Nike Grip Socks. Adidas makes some as well.
James and the Giant Closet Thanks for the reply! Yeah I’m an 11.5 but size down for boots as I’ve got narrow feet. But no half sizes so got an 11. I bought some thicker socks rather than my Adidas socks from uni qlo and they work a treat. Thanks

The toe is too rounded. The heel is too blocky. And I tried on the Enzo's once and they were horribly uncomfortable because of the cheaper leather and narrow design. Night and day difference compared to Saint Laurent Wyatts!!!!
FtF is alright, but overpriced. There are a couple independent Asian brands that don’t have the same marketing power, but whose silhouette I think is even sharper/better, and they use tenured shoe makers to produce their boots. They don’t get a lot of love bc of the bad rep Asian countries get for quality control. But I’ve had SLP, Tom Ford etc, and the indie Asian ones I have are def are contenders.

Have you ever got any pairs of SLP resoled? I hate the plastic fake stacked heel and I want to change my heel from 30mm to 40mm on Wyatt Chelsea.
