Great tutorial, I racked my brains to determine if there was anyway that I could remove the towing bracket bolts without grinding them off but your presentation confirmed it and out they came. The rest is Bull Bar History- Cheers!
Thanks so much. I'm considering a DeeZee grille guard and your well-made and informative video has helped with my decision. I appreciate that you listed off the required/nice-to-have tools, and that you went over some of the hiccups and how to get past them.
Bro same reason I’m looking for one is because of my light bars too and I don’t live in deer country anymore I do make some trips down but if I ever move back I’m definitely getting me a custom full replacement brush guard or just a ranch hand bumper
And u can't just hook up to there to use as ur new tow hook? I like that u can also install the stealth winch system with this thing. Also are the bars in the way of parking sensors? Or will they have to be relocated ?
These have been discontinued. I had one on my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500. Just hit a deer yesterday and bent it but saved my front end. Looked everywhere but no luck for a replacement.
Patriot77 for 2014-2015’s the bolts have to be cut in order to remove the tow hooks no way around it without removing the bumper, 2016 and on you luck out and don’t need to cut the bolts
2014 Chevy Silverado fit my 2013 GMC Denali same hookup remove one bolt each side loosen one bolt each side and tow hooks loosen and twist to slide bracket in and tighten and put bolt back in and tighten. I put my Go Rhino 3174 push bar model 3000 series and everything mounted smooth and clean . Looked for a month only one I found was 900$ + shipping. I paid 400$ including shipping. CarId was a big help finding a Chevy push bar that fit my GMC and sales guy even gave me his 20% employee discount on top of bull bar prices on push bar deal that installed fast.
I was trying to remove the tow hooks on my 2017 in order to powder coat them. What a PITA. I guess GM doesn't expect anyone to want to be able to remove them after you buy the truck.
Aye! I have the same color but i have a Silverado.. the color sure does shine nice when it’s sunny... I was thinking of getting this and putting bull horns on it, it’ll probably look tacky though lol
I would suggest drilling out the mount holes on the gard and the mount to add bigger bolts because looking at the video the 3 bolts that hold the gard to the mount look extremely weak yes there's 3 on both sides but look really weak for mounting a wench. As soon as you pull something think it will break.
Quality Landscape and Hauling Co I checked with Deezee and they said most of their front end accessories WILL interfere with front sensors unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
CaridGo has a 3174b of 3000 series I just bought that's made for 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado that fits my 2013 Gmc Denali perfect and easy. CarId looked it up in their system and found a 2014 Chevy would work but interferes with front sensor I don't have. 400$ three day delivery. Only other set of push bars I found were 900$ plus shipping. Thanks Carid for perfect easy fit looks sharp!

Thanks for documenting this product and install! Helped w my decision on what to buy for my truck.

Bummer!
Hey bubba, no need to cut the bolt. There is a plate that has 4 or 5 bolts that comes loose and then you can pry it down to pull the bolt out.
I got the Go Rhino on my 2016 silverado and there was no cutting or removing tow hooks. Looks good

Thing is dope

Some have gone as far as the remove some of the brackets blocking the bolt. But I agree total PiTA
Do you got the link from where you bought it ?
I am not sure Deezee sells these anymore.
I love you bro. Thx for the help!

Adrian Trejo your truck man! You do you!
What's the total width between the outer upright bars?
I ask because I have a winch/receiver in the front.
WLFF8289 it's 34.5" between the two uprights

Why did you choose this over a grill guard?
SuperKiller177 I don’t like the look of grill guards and was really looking for a home for my light bar. This fit the bill.
Water Fowler 41 thanks, that’s what I’m looking for as well
Hi. Do you know if this bumper triggers the sensors ? I have a 2015 gmc with sensors.
Quality Landscape and Hauling Co I can't say since I don't have them but I bet Deezee will be able to answer that if you give them a ring
Water Fowler 41 thanks for replying back !

Water Fowler 41 Thanks for replying back . I might just go ahead and put one anyways. I like the one you put on .
why the hell they put the bolts from the wrong side in so you have to cut them off???
Michael Weber I think after 2015 the brackets around those bolts were updated to allow a less destructive removal of the bolts.
@@WaterFowler41 I wish you were right, speaking for my 2017 Silverado.
Can't find one anywhere lmao

Sorry if there’s anything you need to know just ask in the comments! This video was filmed very early on, my tech wasn’t quite up to speed
