Interesting video! It's amazing how many overlap there can be between biochemistry/biotechnology/biomedical oriented techniques and how some are applied in forensic labs! They should integrate a module like forensics in a biomedical science degree I think! Edit: love the accent! :)

You should probably go to a residency system and complete a fellowship. At last, get some certifications. It really depends on where you wish to be a forensic pathologist. The training I mentioned above is in a total of 14 years if I'm not mistaken...
They have classes geared toward processing evidence and criminal justice background. Check to see if your school has a forensic science so you can switch to that or have a double major with both since bio classes will overlap and/or minor in criminal justice with bio.

You need to have some sort of degree in the sciences (usually biology, chemistry, or physics) to be a forensic scientist. But a minor in forensic psychology would be great to get in the field!
