Who is that man? I often feel that he is not me. Korea is winter now. It is a little warm winter. That man probably seemed a bit crazy last summer. I'm using that desk. I wonder if the desk in this video is this desk I am using now. That desk is floating on earth like a satellite. One day is over Brazil, one day is over the US, one day is over the Korean territory, and one day, it floats over Indonesia. Then one day, the desk would leave the orbit and fly through Mars and into the faraway space forever. The way of creation is very difficult. It is also the time to get rid of things that you have created. I hope you will love all the closest loving things with all your strength. Waiting for spring, I wrote a few letters.
I tried several times to reduce the length of the video, but it is said that it can not be modified because there are many views. I will leave it as it is.
@@mokongtv123 ☺️ I'm going to hand out one more piece of opinion then: It is more than OK, it would loose being shortened. The combination of crappy Harbour Freight lumber, worn-out, cheap, inherited or second hand machinery, immaculately maintained hand tools and inventive while not overcomplicating craftsmanship fascinated me ever since (so much that I quit a reasonable stem job to become a late blooming apprentice boatbuilder), and You showed a lot of all that in Your not-to-long video, from the rough concrete in this porch set You work on to the very last dowel You sanded flush: there's no problem with any unevenly running machinery, as long as the cutting edges are kept well and You know what You have to do compensating the shitty tooling to still reach Your goal in the end. You reached that goal, I saw the table You built. Well done. I think I contributed something alike already, could not find it back though. I apologise if I should have iterated. And thank You for sharing.
This video leaves me a lot of questions. "Why do so many people watch this video?" "Why do people like this video?" "Why do some people dislike this video?" I also saw this video many times. About 30 to 50 times. There were some unpleasant repetitions. Some people have complained that the length of the video is long. I tried to reduce the length but it was impossible. Time has passed and I think it is better not to reduce the length. I have concluded that some uncomfortable elements also make this video shine. I made about ten desks of the same size as this one for a year. The two were intended for use in my home and office. The remaining eight were donated to children who were not able to afford it. The thickness and size of the wood are in my head and I did not need a plan. The way to fit the legs has changed little by little. The combination method in this video is final. I do not have woodworking as a job. I teach mathematics to middle and high school students. I have been doing woodworking for about five years as a hobby. With the exception of this desk, the rest are mostly first-time or second-time ones. My woodworking skills are not excellent. However, I am very happy when I am doing this work. I especially like hand tools. My pine wood panel is cheap. My machines are also the cheapest. I want to show that these machines can make good furniture. Most importantly, I want to share the joy of building furniture with a lot of people. I am the happiest when I use hand tools and sweat. The previous article you wrote is below. "Particularly interesting for me was the use of absolutely crappy, cheap wood from the hardware store, next to no planing, no thicknessing, and still reaching a decently joined table, appealing in form as well as function. I would have liked a partly take-apart option, though.Nice Handtools, by the way. Thank's for sharing.“ I am sure you will make wonderful boats. At that time, I would like to run first and share your joy. I deeply appreciate both of your sincere opinions. I apologize for my poor English. Again, thank you very much.
I can tell you use older style to joint everything. In the last 6 years, I still use your style for most of my table/working bench projects. Lol. It works and looks nice.
The fact that he did not even use a single nail on that table is impressive to me also HOW ARE YOU SOO ACCURATE IN YOUR MEASUREMENTS!!! THAT IS SOO AMAZING 🤩🤩🤩😳😳
Not only making a beautiful table, he also respect and keep the traditional wooden works of Asia by did not use any nail or any kind of metal. This way make the wooden product last long time.
Those are some interesting joints ... and I liked the way you clamped the workpieces down to clean up the joints with a chisel. Those are some very good ideas, thanks for posting this video!
Really enjoyed watching this video and observing your tools and techniques. It was a great build process and the finished product was aesthetically pleasing and practical. Thank you for sharing.

Why should You shorten it? It's okay, isn't it?
