Three Questions i think many are interested in. 1. Is the AF as fast and smooth as the 16-55? 2. Is the image Quality and especially the distortion comparable to the 16-55? 3. Is the OIS as good as the 100-400? If that all will be ok, than the lens will be overwhelming.
I loved the photos you were able to capture, and this is my most anticipated lens in a long time. I'd love to have a simple lens to travel with, and while it's early, this appears to be a great option vs 18-135 or even 16-55.
Seriously, I will be considering this lens. It's that 24-120mm equivalent in full frame,, but what I can't understand is All I ever hear from pros is it's important to use a lens hood, but this guy isn't the first photographer that I've seen shooting with the hood on backwards. There is one seen in this video where he has the lens right next to a light. Even if he wants lens flare on purpose in the shot, why doesn't he just take the damn thing off? It is just in the way. You can't even reach the zoom ring. So uncomfortable.
This new gem will blow away the 18-135 for sure and most people who's using a fuji not for work will trade the stock 18-50 for this one... BUT, it's pretty damn expensive! So, what now? 1) Stick with my plan and buy a 18-50 and seve me A LOT of money 2) Get a 16-55 which a fu****g brick and do not has OIS (also super expensive) 3) Get this new 16-80 even though i'm already covered on the 50 to 80 focal lenght by the 50-140 (which is a beast of a lens) Any advises?
10-24/16-80/55-200. Job done. Almost forgot the cheapo 27mm for when you need to stick your camera in a coat pocket!

:))) Dislikes are ok. Nothing can be everyones darling...
That is a nice video, showing the various fields of photography where the FUJINON 16-80 can be used.
Well done !
How's the autofocusing compared to the 16-55mm is it snappy??
Great video Sir...the image looks clean and sharp ...
Absolutely :)
Great video. This is one I’m looking forward to as well. As long as image quality is at least as good as 18-55. Hope it has better micro contrast.
What’s camera shoot video?
Hi. I was wondering if this video was also shot with 16-80? Nice video 😊

I agree with you. It doesn't look pro at all.
Love the shots! how would you compare this lens to the 18-55 lens? Thank you for the video.
Of course it has far more range up to 80mm. You will like it, I think...
@@jensburger7241 did you miss going down to 2.8 at max wide? It's really not a big deal right?
I learned jack ish about the lens in this video but nice video btw

Save alot of money if you already have the lengths covered. Or consolidate all the other lens and buy this new one.
Go for the 18-55
What is the point of this video?
Why are you watching this if you don't care about the lens?
doze Fuji colors
In an official release video, at least put the lens hood on the right way.
lol...
What a nitpicker
clean your sensor plz!
