    NIce! I'm making a rectangular doily for an end table. So far looks great! It's a denim cotton crochet thread. Love your video! Thanks.

    Love this stitch!!!
    Thank you!
    I do have a question. If I were making a stole with this stitch would I start with the length of the shawl or the width of the shawl with my chains? I hope that makes sense. And how much will the pattern cause the length of the intital chains to shrink up?
    Thanks Ashley!❤️🧶

      Hi Marian! The stitch pattern shouldn't shrink up too much...plus I highly recommend blocking it to help open up the stitches so that could help relax any shrinking that may have occurred. As for starting your stole with length or width, I think it's just a matter of personal preference...personally I think I would start with width. Hope this helps!

    Loving this stitch. How would I convert it into a bedspread/blanket? Cheers from Australia

      @HeartHookHome  2 года назад +2

      Hi! This has a chain multiple of 8+1+1. So, you would chain a multiple of 8 until you reach your desired width, then add another 2 chains.

    Easy peasy! Is the guage determined before blocking or after?

      Hi Diana! Measure before blocking =)

    I love this! 💕 I am wondering if it's easy to change the length of the pattern? I'm not very tall......🤔🤔🤔🥰

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  2 года назад +2

      Yes! This pattern is a 6 row repeat, so you would want to omit rows in multiples of 6.

      @@HeartHookHome Awesome! Thank you so much for letting me know. I'm debating between two of your most recent designs. I'm not sure which one to buy..... I want both, of course! You have those nice long legs 🦵🥰 and I just know I will need to alter the length for my stubby legs!😂😂🤣🤣👍💕💕💕💕💕

    Beautiful and not as complicated as it looks. Do you specifically use cotton thread?

    • @HeartHookHome
      @HeartHookHome  2 года назад

      Hi Elizabeth! For the pattern that I used this stitch for, yes, I think a cotton or cotton blend would be ideal...but acrylic and other fibers can be used.

      @@HeartHookHome Thanks for your quick response. Here in Uganda, crotchet and knitting are limited to few as a hobby. So, we have limited yarn varieties as well. Cotton? Haven't seen it anywhere. But thanks for the beautiful design and perfect instructions.

    Out of your topic...seed stitch is easier than tunisian(honeycomb), i spent lots of time doing tunisian and got wrong too.
