I just received my order of these tools here in the States. If you are interested in them, I would recommend letting them know asap as they can take some time to get here from Australia, which they send over in quantity but the recent shipment may already be sold out. That said, they are high quality items, unsurprisingly. They are likely heavier than what you may have now or the all metal versions you may have used/seen but well worth it in my opinion. As Ben states, the wood is dense and capable of withstanding the elements and heat, better than most wood species. Considering how beautiful their ovens are, these are a perfect compliment to that beauty and they will absolutely last. My dilemma lies in whether I actually display them outside with my oven, which I know he says you can but they are so nice, it is hard for me to take that step.
