    VAN HALEN September 20, 2013 : Twitter : "14 year old girl covers "Eruption" I need to meet this girl !!!
    "The fact that she looks bored as hell makes it that much cooler haha".
    Response from Tina S : "Even if on my videos I seem, as many say, to be bored, it's quite the opposite. I am super focused, deeply into the solo!"

    So many people wanted to make Tina into a big celebrity. She wouldn't have *anything* to do with it. In a way, you have to admire her for that. Maybe she can come back in a non-celebrity way for those of us who appreciate her exciting & brilliant uniqueness.

    Yeah, she has some metal songs that she does to that a real good tornado of souls I believe by Megadeth trooper by iron maiden and my favorite that she does from Metallica master of puppets. Oh my god this girl is so gifted if she ever gets with the group and the drummer is half decent. The basis is half decent and the singer can sing. It’ll be a smash group almost immediately just because of Tina‘s presence. I’m absolutely addicted to her. I watch as many of her covers every night and afternoon I just absolutely am stunned by how well she plays And you’re right she plays it like do you want me to do what OK I’ll do it and it just it looks so easy to her. I think what she does is she listens to a song once maybe twice and she just knows how to play it

    Also "8 Years of Practicing Guitar ". Shows her development from a young child to present. Was enrolled in a music academy at the age of 6. Studied Classical Guitar there. You can certainly see the influence in her Moonlight SONATA cover. How she holds the Guitar in Classical position.

    This is the cover that first introduced me to the Tina S world. Eddie was always my favorite guitarist and I watched many videos over the years to see if someone could even come close to his version of this (album version). She's the closest i've ever seen/heard and she has the same way of making it look easy. I've been hooked ever since. By the way, she had just turned 14 when this was released. D I think you've only reacted to her Beethoven cover, DragonForce cover, and now this one. If that's the case you're missing out. There are many more just as good or better. My favorites are Steve Vai's For the Love of God, Becker's Altitudes, and Gary Moore's The Loner. However, they're all great. She starts putting in her own style as she gets older so the covers aren't note for note. I like her version of For the Love of God better than Vai's. Anyway, hope you don't stop with this one. Some of the others are short enough you could do several in one reaction is you chose to.

      Agreed, with every word. He's missed out the best three, as far as I'm concerned; and you list them in reverse order of my favourites (though I keep flicking between Becker and Moore for top spot... can't make up my mind!). Malmsteen's Arpeggios from Hell is also great; and she seems to be watching TV during that one (and doing her maths homework! 😂)

    • @aukebakker887
      @aukebakker887 2 года назад +6

      Fully Agreed with you guys! My absolute favourite and much overlooked is Altitudes. SOOO good! About Eruption, she had only been playing the electric guitar for about ONE year!! Before that only classical and western steel string guitar. Is nt that just amazing. it was her YT debute. About Appreggios from hell, by Malmsteen: I read that she hardly looked at her strings on purpose, to diss Malmsteen. After all, the name of the track suggests that it is the hardest thing ever. (dont know if its true though) Please start with Altitudes! You wont regret it, amazing shredding and sweep picking.

    It really is too bad she got chased off the internet, she is finominal. I just learned something interesting this week that I didn't know, namely that the electric guitar was invented in my home state of Utah. Some other Utah inventions that you may have encountered sometime in your life are, headphones, television, car stereo, stereophonic recording, hi-fi speakers, computer animation, word processing software, the first video game, the DVD, the electric traffic light, the frisbee, the Zamboni, the first permanent artificial heart, the hearing aid, the Colt .45 and Browning repeating rifle, the odometer (though technically that was the pioneers on their way to what became Utah) and many others that I have forgotten about or haven't learned about yet. But how much could a state, with a population less than half the size of the population of New York City, be expected to change the world?

    Whenever I watch one of your Tina S reactions, you are always dissing her for her apparent nonchalance and laid back approach to presenting her video. She has practiced to the point that her skill and muscle memory are so good, she can relax while playing difficult pieces. My take is this; D, pickup a guitar and show us how you play her songs and make whatever faces you think are necessary!
