    Hook: Standard dry-fly hook (here a Mustad 94840), sizes 10-14.
    Thread: 6/0 or 140 Denier, olive.
    Wing: Wood-duck feather.
    Tail: Hackle fibers, brown.
    Body: Rabbit-fur dubbing, fawn-colored.
    Hackle: Brown and grizzly hackle.

    Good video! Man, I've caught a lot of trout on this fly. Wise to note the dimensions because you can crowd the eye if you're not careful.

    very nicely done as always. I am curious though, the dubbing you used the fawn color, did you blend this yourself, something like a brown/yellow blend ?

    That is a custom Matt Grobert blend, as is just about everything he uses. I'll see if he wants to give up the recipe and then post it.

    Is the original March Brown dry made of hare's ear dubbing, brown cock hackle and a partridge hackle in front?

    HA! ... no problem, Somewhere I read that the fawn color is very close to a yellow/brown blend, May need to experiment a bit.
