Spurs pre-season game🤣🤣🤣.
Grew up in Dallas, use to vacation to San Antonio all the time as a kid! That one made me laugh 😃
“ Don’t put that in your piggy bank that’s my Aldi quarter!” Hits so close to home, I was howling
Aldi army!
@@bsktbllbrad9 I thought of Hattie during that part 😅
Don't forget about getting boxes or remembering the reusable bags
Seriously!! Haha
(Judy VanderPloeg)
I'm not sure about other places, but our Aldi's are just about as expensive as anywhere else.
Oh man. Living in constant dread of Dave Ramsey's disappointment is a thing. Every time we pay for food at a restaurant I expect him to appear out of nowhere and slap the debit card out of my hand.
@A Laputa right, but “the only reason you should be in a restaurant is because you work there!” #babystep2 🤣
😂
Why? It’s your life, it makes you happy!
I follow his sinking fund methods but other things I don’t because I believe sometimes doing something that makes you happy is better than regret and always thinking about it. If you have debt as long as you are paying it up it’s better than not paying.
I use to be strict with my sinking fund and money but I realize I would obsessed over how much money I need and can only use. Once I got ride of that mind set I am more happy. Just don’t over spend and be ok with having what you have because their are other people who has it worse.
OMG YES THIS!
The struggle is real!🤣🤣🤣
“The only signature I need is kirkland signature” made me choke on my chicken nugget 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"debt snowball ain't gonna start itself" 😂
Gotta love Dave!
@@bsktbllbrad9 Always lol I'm taking his financial class right now
Dave: "okay yall gotta sell those kids and the second car"
@@wigglesworld One of US! One of US! One of US!
I am so seen. And I am okay with that. Middle class is a happy medium so I will continue to bargain shop, use coupons, and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Amazon filters to sort the prices from low to high. 😂
💯
"But walruses, bigger than you think. That's no problem, keeping them in captivity." The way I laughed!
I grew up this way. It makes semi-expensive stuff seem so much more special. Also I still dive through the clearance bin, I love saving money 😅
I refer to the clearance bin as my friend Clarence.
Oh my gosh also Jake talking about the neighbor’s lawn while pushing out his stomach. 🤣🤣🤣
That’s my Aldi quarter! 😂 My toddler was super confused the other day when we went to a store that didn’t require a quarter to use the cart. 😂
Oh man, the part about eating leftovers 😂 So perfect. “Who wants enchilada casserole and deviled eggs?!”
Because enchilada casserole is better the next day.
I just ate a bagel and broccoli salad an hour ago. 😂
I am unreasonably thrilled with my unlimited car wash membership.
There’s truly nothing like it
So is my husband. Sometimes we even do it more than once a day😏
@@JAH-iu3yh 😅
Thank you for being funny and CLEAN.
Need to work a garage sale reference in there too🤣
"looks like we have gift cards for...." is my life!!!! So SO accurate
I love how you guys are so open with how you feel about the supporters. And you make ad spots fun to listen to
Glad you enjoyed it!
These guys are the real deal 🥰
Nailed it! Going to a high end restaurant and calling it a fancy restaurant is a middle class thing!
"I'm a minority owner! ...Not like that, I'm white" 🤣
Yep, I was like "Im dead"
In our house we have a "whatever" dinner. You can eat whatever you can find or make yourself
We call it a "you're on your own" night.
We call it "make your own dinner night" every Saturday
We call it “fend for yourself”
@@brittjacobs9832 same, I personally hate it because I never can find anything to have to eat 😭
"Pretty okay" with a slight pause before and after is the best way to respond to "how are you doing?"
Just trying to be honest, ya know?
Same and in those pauses sometimes I deliberate on saying something unexpected but I usually don't because how much do I really want to interact with that whole exhange? Depends on the person tbh
Very funny but you missed one key thing. This is something my dad swears by - duct tape/electrical tape for everything! 😆
And along the same theme, the insisting you can do the job yourself (even if you have NEVER fixed a toilet in your life), because you are absolutely NOT paying $100 for the plumber to cross your doorstep and then some!! Same for that minor electrical work! These fixes may or may not require duct tape! 😂
just a couple ideas - re-using food containers as Tupperware, saving $3 on one thing and splurging the next day, saying "it was a little expensive but it's quality", using mis match items to serve opposite purposes like a stack of books as a laptop stand.
🤣🤣 The Ross, Tjmaxx part, so relatable!! 😂😂
I love Ross and TJMAXX! It's like a treasure hunt. Yes, you sort through hundreds of crappy items, but a prize is always there!!
And finding Eddie Bauer!! My mother-in-law just goes on and on about Eddie Bauer clothes!!
Middle class: we love our timeshares! Nothing like repeatedly spending time in Branson, Missouri or Orlando, Florida. Those food coupons and restaurant gift cards are the best. Shopping for food in the grocery clearance aisle is a real treasure hunt!
The grocery clearance aisle "is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" at a great price!😁
I recently, in the last 5 years, have moved from Northwest Arkansas to Cleveland for a couple years, just now to Dallas, and I really miss our little weekend vacations to Branson Missouri! It might be middle class but never take it for granted!! 🤍
@@MorbidKat I love being middle class because it's the right amount for my lifestyle which is not too much nor too little. Upper is too stress full, and lower is depressing. I've experienced all levels and I prefer middle.
@@maranathaacts1327 I would agree, comfortable is just well, comfortable!
@@MorbidKat Riiiiiiiight! 😁
Fazoli's omg 🤣🤣🤣
Sneaking food into the movies.
Taking long road trips because you have too many kids to fly.
Making way too big a deal about high school graduation.
...idk if these are all "middle class" but they feel like they fit.
Dude my mom would bring a lunch cooler into the movies. 😂 Ain't about to pay $8 for popcorn!
This sounds about right 😂
My hubby had to finally admit it makes ZERO sense to pay $50 for a few drinks & popcorn. Kids are just happy to have treats. They don’t care if the Swedish Berries come in a little zippy bag from me!
I am in a medium middle class household and this is pretty accurate.
Mortgage almost paid off, truck paid off
We have the unlimited monthly car wash
Shop at our local wholesale club
Reusable bags in our truck
Season passes to the zoo
My husband and I frequently comment on neighboring yards lol
And we only buy food and clothes that are on sale.
Constantly putting money away for kids college and investing in retirement plans/long term stocks
The only tv my husband watches are shark tank, CNBC and motor trend 😂
I am a stay at home mom, I work out, cook and clean.
We go camping/glamping in our local area three times annually as vacations.
Stacks of gift cards from my upper middle class sister and mother in law that we have been given on holidays/birthdays.
The other day I was telling my husband that my RayBans are, like, the biggest Middle Class Flex 😂
Your ad read - Jake just wanted a high five. 🤣 Also the “vacation to remember” cracked me up. Because I was homeschooled all of our vacations were somehow educational! Y’all nailed this one.
“I got it at Ross…is there anywhere else to shop?” 😂😂😂
Should we all just vote right now to label that “hands on the lower back/elbows point/gut out” stand, THE *Jake Stance* lol! Spot on
Shopping at Ross is my jam! I always would get compliments on my outfits. And I would also say guess how much 😂
"Feel the stretch". I thought I'd never wear jeans again. The key word is "spandex". Thank you, Universe!
@@jocelyneke6445 😂
This reminds me of me in South Africa.. I'm obsessed with my lawn and I judge non gardener's
How about: kids this is mortgage paycheck, we have to wait 2 weeks until next paycheck to get that.
Lower middle class...middle class has money left over after mortgage and bills and we don't have to shop at Aldi, and Ross is NOT middle class. Now if he said Macy's? That's middle class
“The only signature I need is Kirkland signature” 🤣🤣🤣
I really related to the Aldi's quarter one. Aldi is middle class heaven
Plastic yard furniture, spending $$$ on a massive grill and then buying steak on sale at Walmart, still using your parents streaming services accounts . My students set up a Twitter for “Craig the suburban Dad”. Craig was a cat they had been dissecting in my anatomy and physiology class.
Sounds like we need to get some content ideas from you and your students!
Lololol
My parents use MY streaming service accounts. *ballin*
@@bsktbllbrad9 Their collab fees are crazy high. But I’m a teacher, so work for nothing.
Pigeon Forge should have been on the list for a vacation site. It's so middle class tourist trappy, yet so cool!
Dollywood was our BEST ever Family vacation ❣️❣️
I've seen so many NordVPN sponsorship ads, but I sat through all of this one because Jake and Brad made it fun to watch! Not surprised though, everything they do is fun to watch!
Love it! Thanks so much for watching the ad, it means a lot! We definitely try to make things fun!
Same!
It’s like a trailer park with 🛝 around it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Please keep em coming!! . I start giggling before I even watch, I'm like oh this is gonna be good and it always is 😂Thank you
Thanks for your support, Kelly! We’ve got a lot more fun ones coming up as well!
Loved the video! The only inaccuracy I noticed is that the vacation wouldn’t be to San Antonio (that’s way too exotic), it would be to Branson, Missouri. 😉
I’m sure no one can guess where I spent most of my vacations when I was growing up.
I’m from Missouri and the number of comments about Brandon is hilarious.I have timeshare in Branson
Depends where you're from. I lived in Texas and went on "vacation" to San Antonio as a kid. I pretty much hated it. I guess it might be fun if you could get margaritas on the river walk but as a kid it's just.. well, a walk 😅
My husband's grandma has a timeshare in Branson though and we now live in Missouri so my kids have already experienced the wonders of Branson 😂
Or Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg
When I looked it up online a few years ago I was kinda shocked to find out my family was “low class” 😅 but recently we moved out way up to lower middle class and I’m pretty proud. Still I consider the stuff in this video to be rich people stuff 😂
The lawn thing is totally me! It really annoys me that my neighbors don’t care at all about curb appeal, their weed infested lawns, and weeds growing in the cracks of their cement.
And now they act like not doing any yard work is environmentally friendly. A kept wild yard is a far cry from someone who is just too lazy to keep their space tidy.
It goes hand in hand with Slater, their long-haired, surfer boy & Willow, their long-wild-haired girl
Growing up we called Hamburger Helper “Glovey” because of the cartoon glove dude 😂😂😂 I could eat that stuff every night 😆
But what about the WW3 in the bathroom afterwards? 😂
@@shangelo8137 true… Sometimes (most times) Glovey attac…😱😆😂
Re-using shopping bags, re-using ziplock bags, re-using butter bowls and tomatoes sauce jars.
Goodwills, garage sales, re-using gift bags.
Going through the clearance section.
Team Edward, Eddie Bauer, and TJ to the max 😂😂classic
"That's my Aldi quarter"! hahaha There's a store here in Nova Scotia called 'No Frills' and the shopping carts take a Loonie to unlock them! hahahaha No Frills, but they think an awful lot of their carts, don't they?!
Loved it! I’ve been on a few of those vacations to the Alamo. Target’, I remember calling it that all through high school. Perfect!
I grew up in San Antonio and I cracked up at "you'll REMEMBER this vacation for a while"...
Love it! Y’all are hilarious! The Aldi quarter is so real!!!
Yesssss! The Aldi quarter!! Mine is always in my cupholder!
love you guys and I can see how comfortable y'all have gotten on camera.
I’m so here for your awkwardness, moments of quiet desperation, and this funny celebration of whiteness…that’s weird to say but it’s hilarious because you poke fun w a loving undertone. Your tribe is your tribe…
I have been watching these videos since you all have become Jean Shorts Comedy. I'm a huge fan of you guys and Trey Kennedy. I look forward to more videos. ❤️
My family has a running joke "you don't need to buy EVERYTHING at Costco"
I'm surprised one of your clothing items wasn't from Costco!
Another excellent video guys! Keep up the great work!
I always ALWAYS skip the ad parts, I just couldn't this time 😂🤣😂🤣 you guys are just magic ✨️ 😂🤣
Loved the hands on the hips with chest and stomach out!! LOL:)
The stance of a true Middle Class Judge
I just graduated from Air Force basic training in San Antonio and went on the river walk with my family, so it was so funny to hear that mentioned as I’m going through and catching up on all the Jean Shorts content I’ve missed! Keep it up, gents!
Congratulations 🎉 Serena 🇺🇲
God bless U & USA
Lol I laughed at the undercover boss line, I was into that show a couple months ago 🤣
haha, loved it! The ad at the beginning was just as funny as the video. You pushing your stomach out Jake was great. ;)
So many great lines in this. I love it. 🤣
Excited to try the chuck roast/dr pepper/salt! It'll go great with our Hamburger Helper. I'll get my roast at Aldi!
The aldi quarter is so accurate
The blooper at the end 😂 you guys are great
My favorite one so far! Couldn't stop laughing😂
the Aldi quarter! so true
living in San Antonio, I can confirm my city being a middle class destination...long-term for many of us lower middle class folks😉
Y’all hit the nail on the head with these jokes
"that's my Aldi quarter" 💀
These videos make my day!

Love this !
"That's my Aldi quarter!"
"Sarah hates that joke haha" Sarah ain't the only one 😒😂
This was so accurate it hurt a little. 😂 😂
"How's the lawn?" made me choke on my food!😂
The Joseph a bank joke lol I remember those commercials on tv those guys were always having the most absurd sales
This is far too accurate 🤣

Middle class part II ideas 💡
A reference to fancy like
The difficulty of adding chairs to your four person dinner table when you host a party
Talking about sports betting at family gatherings
Crypto. Just so volatile
Buying birthday gifts for nephew you don’t know with credit card rewards points
You just can’t work on your own car anymore
Bridgerton
The amount of times i go out w my daughter and spend money I don't have at Ross... can't pass a good clearance price, wallet always grows skrilla for a good time. 🤣
*that intro high five got me rotf
You got me, guys. You've nailed middle class imho. Bravo!
Your Aldi quarter 🤣🤣🤣
The ALDIs quarter! 😂😂😂
Not my Aldi quarter! 🤣
I love that you use Oklahoma places!! White water is about an hour away from me!!
-Heading directly for the clearance racks in any retail store
-Shoveling the driveway by hand for fifteen years instead of buying a snowblower
-Sneaking your own food into movie theatres/water parks
-Buying the annual Metroparks pass even though you'll rarely use it
-Minivan is primary vehicle
-Kids wear hand-me-downs and "great finds"
-Coupon clipping for items like kombutcha and sparkling water
-Kids do the yard work/weed pulling
I love the San Antonio shout-out lol
If all you guys did was ad videos I would still watch because they are that entertaining.
More behind the scenes!!!
Buy one suit get partial ownership in the company. STILL CRACKING UP! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the best paid promotion I've ever seen on the entire RUclips!! 💪❤️ It's raw and honest, I love it. I'm getting the Nord VPN right now, for no other reason but the fact that they approved this cliché-breaking, humorous-while-remaining-informative format!
To quote some of the great American thinkers, shut up and take my money. 💸
Nord VPN 🍀👌✨
PS I didn't even watch the video itself, I stopped before I wrote the above comment. The paid promotion part was so hilarious I was laughing so hard, I didn't even want to see anything else after it in order not to spoil the great mood you guys had put me in.
The JosABank joke!…so true
😂 …and the Debt Snowball…lol
