The Old Testament Points to Christ

As 30 Minutes in the New Testament works through Matthew’s gospel, we will see a lot of references to the Old Testament. Sometimes the verses quoted don’t seem to speaking of Christ. But Jesus himself said in Luke 24 that the entirety of the OT is about Him. Therefore, when we interpret these passages we will always labor to show that ultimately every verse in Scripture is given to lead us to the main character of the Biblical story: Christ and him crucified for the forgiveness of sinners.
