My father is from pind chotian kharlan (kharl khurd) which was in Dasuya and my mother was from wadian kharlan (Kharal Kalan) which was in Jallandhar district at the time of partition. As told by my father the nearby railway station was cholang. My father is alive. He is now 92 but unable to travel. There's not a single day when he didn't recall his birth place and the memories of Dasuya, Hoshiarpur and Jallandhar. We are Bhatti Rajputs by cast and majority of the residents of these two villages were our ancestors.
