I just got the red XR 64GB as my first ever iPhone (I've been only using Android for the last 10 years) - love it so far! Great price to performance with the A12 chip as well as the latest iOS 15 version. I just hoped that I could get a 128GB version. Was pretty close to get a 11 but the price difference (locally where I live across a few places) is just too much so I decided to go with the XR instead.
I’d upgrade from the iPhone SE 1st gen to an iPhone 13 and there is a huge difference between the two in terms of performance, battery life and various features not seen on the iPhone SE 1st gen.
By the way the IPhone 11 is spectacular I seem to use it a little bit more than my 13 mini only because I love it more and it lasts me the whole day. Also perfect size for my hands lol
I love my iPhone 11 it’s a bit it does have 5g. I suffer from PWM sensitivity so it’s been hard to upgrade owing to Oled. I hope to upgrade to the iPhone SE 4 if it’s a 6.1 inch A16 bionic chip and similar to either an iPhone XR or iPhone 11.
I finally gave in and got the iPhone 13 mini after holding onto my original iPhone SE for 5 years! My new mini is great and all, but I sure do miss the small size of my original SE. The mini is too big in my opinion, but I suppose everything is relative. Can’t understand why the majority of people prefer larger phones. A phone should be pocketable and easy to use with one hand.
I agree, and I also think the iPhones are misnamed. SE1 size should be Mini. Mini should be just regular iPhone Regular iPhone should be iPhone Plus. To make my Mini more one-hand friendly, I added Back Taps in Accessibility settings for Control Center and App Switcher, in addition to the Reachability feature.
2022 looking bright so far! Its the first day and we already have another great video from Zollotech. Thanks Aaron and all the best for the year ahead. 🇿🇦
Thanks for this. It's about time I upgrade my iPhone 6s. It now turns off unexpectedly, among other issues, and that's the only reason I'm back on the market. Since the new iPhones are supposedly better than all the previous ones, I'm expecting the one I'll get to last at least 10-15years.
My XR was finally dropped this year :( but looks like 2022 is the time to upgrade. I'm eyeing the notchless 14 pro but if the 14 turns out to have 6gb ram and even just 90htz screen then im buying that.
@Jishler I hope it’s either completely notchless or they keep the notch the same. Not a little dot like the Samsungs. It bugs me way more than the iPhone notch which you really don’t notice it while using, and looks cool when you look at it
I’d love to see a similar video for currently available AirPods, covering audio quality, including input/microphone and feature review, with similar Beats versions included
iPhone 13 mini or 13 pro I feel like are the only good options for buying a new iphone today. If you’re on a tight budget, get an iPhone 11 pro used. At around $500 that’s a great value compared to the other cheaper phones apples sells
Got the 13 mini becaue of size and battery improvement over 12 mini. I guess it'll be the last mini in a couple of years, but i assume Apple will release another mini as soon as they update the design in the next generations.
I’ve still got the iphone 6s right now. It’s a solid phone, but the battery and camera isn’t too good. I’m also hoping to be upgrading to the Iphone XR or 11
After the iPhone 11 came out, I purchased the XR for discount price. There is very little difference between the two phones. The XR has been very good and reliable so far.
I upgraded from the 8+ to the regular 13 which has not disappointed me and I love the new upgrades especially the battery and I’m most likely gonna stick to it till apple makes a huge change
I use 12 mini, however I am looking for 14 already, since many nice features will be offered, as no notch, less camera bump, better display overall, fingerprint scanner and more.
I doubt there’s gonna be a fingerprint scanner and the no notch will only be with the pro models so ur gonna have to get the pro models the regular 14 models tho are gonna have the smaller notch just like the 13

Upgraded from 6s to 13 after like 3 years lol definitely futuristic and very premium. Battery is 10x better i get about 9 on screen ours a day it’s insane
Right now I got a Samsung a11 and trying to save up for a iPhone 11. This really help on all the things I needed to know before I get that iPhone.👍😃
This is very informative. I’m proabably going to go with a 13 mini. I hate large phones. I have an 11 but recently had the screen replaced and it’s just not the same as the original.
My hubby gifted me an iPhone 11 last week. This is my first iPhone . Love it so much.
I have 13. No issues u can go for it. As far as refresh rate is concerned. It’s matter of 2-3 days. It’s smooth.
Pros - battery, display, size and weight, sound.
Cons- refresh rate ( not for me )
What’s refresh rate?
I just got the red XR 64GB as my first ever iPhone (I've been only using Android for the last 10 years) - love it so far! Great price to performance with the A12 chip as well as the latest iOS 15 version. I just hoped that I could get a 128GB version.
Was pretty close to get a 11 but the price difference (locally where I live across a few places) is just too much so I decided to go with the XR instead.
using it for 3 years now.
Nice
how is the battery life bro?
I’d upgrade from the iPhone SE 1st gen to an iPhone 13 and there is a huge difference between the two in terms of performance, battery life and various features not seen on the iPhone SE 1st gen.
By the way the IPhone 11 is spectacular
I seem to use it a little bit more than my 13 mini only because I love it more and it lasts me the whole day.
It’s a pity , I meant
I finally gave in and got the iPhone 13 mini after holding onto my original iPhone SE for 5 years! My new mini is great and all, but I sure do miss the small size of my original SE. The mini is too big in my opinion, but I suppose everything is relative. Can’t understand why the majority of people prefer larger phones. A phone should be pocketable and easy to use with one hand.
How big is mini in real life for you? (Does it cover your whole palm if you put it in your hand?)
I agree, and I also think the iPhones are misnamed.
SE1 size should be Mini.
Mini should be just regular iPhone
Regular iPhone should be iPhone Plus.
Happy new year!
I recently upgraded from an XR which I’ve had since December 2018 to the 13 Pro. No regrets
Same. Went from a 6S to 13 mini.
I have switched from iphone 12 to
s 21 ultra and I love the screen and chargeing speed, best value for money i would say
It bugs me way more than the iPhone notch which you really don’t notice it while using, and looks cool when you look at it
I’d love to see a similar video for currently available AirPods, covering audio quality, including input/microphone and feature review, with similar Beats versions included
iPhone SE - 0:47
iPhone 11 - 0:58
iPhone 12 mini - 1:09
iPhone 12 - 1:19
iPhone 13 mini - 1:33
iPhone 13 - 1:44
iPhone 13 Pro - 1:55
iPhone 13 Pro Max - 2:09
iPhone 13 mini or 13 pro I feel like are the only good options for buying a new iphone today. If you’re on a tight budget, get an iPhone 11 pro used. At around $500 that’s a great value compared to the other cheaper phones apples sells
I got the 13 pro max since launch day and My grandma and her boyfriend just got the 13 pro max and they love them!
Going to use my iPhone 12 mini throughout 2022, and beyond! :) Great video
Got the 13 mini becaue of size and battery improvement over 12 mini. I guess it'll be the last mini in a couple of years, but i assume Apple will release another mini as soon as they update the design in the next generations.
The 13/13 mini seem to have the best back camera
Thank you for this video. I can't believe the 12MP main camera has been with various iPhone models for years
Not gonna lie but this vid came at the right time for me :)
Me too
@@RaymoZenitram agreed
I’ve still got the iphone 6s right now. It’s a solid phone, but the battery and camera isn’t too good.
I’m also hoping to be upgrading to the Iphone XR or 11
I got the 12 mini about 2 weeks ago and it’s amazing, perfect size and screen. The camera works great and the battery life is great
Had 8plus and now for 2 months been using 11 pro max ! More than enough for me !
Nevertheless great video as always … thanks 🙏
I have 13 mini but still keep my XS - proud of it, still a good phone with 89% battery.
Upgraded from an 8 to 12. Differences I notice are Face ID, screen size and brightness. Apart from that seems much the same.
That anker charger does look pretty cool. The video on the 13 pros don't look as good as the others to me. The others are warmer.
I have the iPhone 13 mini and the iPhone 13 Pro. Both are good for me for battery life. I like both for different reasons.
i get about 7 1/2 - 8 hrs of screen time on my 13, just depends on what apps you keep running
I’m currently watching this from my iPhone 13 mini blue, 512gb. I highly recommend this phone. It’s a beast
upgraded from the 8 plus to the 12 and i love it perfect size
Are you going to keep your 12 pro max forever I am going to keep mine forever best phone! 👌 🥰😍🤩💞❤
After the iPhone 11 came out, I purchased the XR for discount price. There is very little difference between the two phones. The XR has been very good and reliable so far.
Just bought a used 11 pro Max 256gb and I absolutely love it! The display, the cameras, the design, battery life is also very good ect.
I have the same 11 ProMax phone 256GB. GREAT PHONE!!
@style with sitara
Apple recommends changing your battery at 80% capacity.
@style with sitara
Changing the battery is the cheapest way to make you phone last as long as you want.
@style with sitara Mine is at 87% and I get 10-12 hours of SOT, I am more than content
It's either the 11, regular 13 or 13PM for me, and the future 14 Max. Hopefully Apple doesn't spoil it with a lousy battery capacity.
The 13 mini is going to be a collectors item. It really is so perfect.
i have the 13 pro max and i want the mini 🥲
I had SE gen 2 since june 2020 and upgraded to 13 Pro Max in mid-Dec and it's the best in my experience.
I really like how you present the subjects: clear and easy to follow
I upgraded from the 8+ to the regular 13 which has not disappointed me and I love the new upgrades especially the battery and I’m most likely gonna stick to it till apple makes a huge change
I use 12 mini, however I am looking for 14 already, since many nice features will be offered, as no notch, less camera bump, better display overall, fingerprint scanner and more.
I highly doubt apple will get rid of the notch anytime soon lol
I doubt there’s gonna be a fingerprint scanner and the no notch will only be with the pro models so ur gonna have to get the pro models the regular 14 models tho are gonna have the smaller notch just like the 13
the 13 it say have bit more mAh than the pro 13, size screen both same, had exspect the 13 was last longer or least more the same, be it a software issue ? or was it a difrent screen brightness you usef?
I upgraded from the 6s plus to the standard 13. All I can say is I’m impressed with the performance and battery life
is battery in 13 better than 6s plus?
@@mr.nugget3461 yes definitely
@@Leazha08 Kk thx
@@mr.nugget3461 obviously what kind of question is that 🤦🏽♂️
I will be getting my iPhone 11 in a few weeks I am so excited!!!!!!!
Upgraded from iPhone 11 to iPhone 13 pro max, best decision I ever made. Battery and everything else is just plain better in all aspects.
I’ve had my iPhone 7 for 5 years now and I’m just now needing an upgrade, I don’t care about what color it comes in, how the pictures look or any of these other goofy cosmetic things. When I buy a phone I want it to be a long term investment all I care about is how well it works and how long it can keep working like that. It seems like nobody makes anything that last a long time now days they just want everyone to be constantly paying on a monthly plan for a new phone never getting anything paid off for more than a year before it falls apart. Very annoying
I m glad zollotech still mentions iphone 11 ❤️
Apple still sells it new as well.
Upgraded from 8 to 13 pro, was about time. Whenever i check the 8 now it feels weird. If you’re thinking of upgrading, just know there’s probably no going back to the old phone
Currently using the SE (2nd gen) and I’m completely fine with it. I’m sure I’ll probably upgrade next year to a newer phone, but currently I’m content with the SE.
Hey how are you enjoying it, battery wise. Considering between it and the xr
@@michaelekwueme9104 with everyday use (emails, texts, calls, and social media) I get about 6-7 hours on it. I do have a battery case, that lets me use it for an extra 7-8 hours.
I have a 8 plus I love it alot Should I upgrade to a 11 pro in 2 years because after 2 years it might be outdated btw I will miss the touch ID
Hey, I heard people said that the iPhone 13 series did not have “Phone Noise Cancellation” feature like previous iPhone, and it’s true. What do you think about it?
It’s totally true, I’m surprise he never mentioned this, Something looks very suspicious to me. Just a short research can give you a lot of information about this issue.
upgraded from a 8Plus to a 13 pro max and so far loving every bit of it
The wallpaper is really amazing and looks beautiful on all the iPhone displays whether one being LCD or other OLED
Do you know what wallpaper it is?
I do not like the idea of notch on top of all these models. Aesthetically it should be replaced in near future. Psychologically it gives you a back in the mind feel, you are being observed.
Great video Aaron, I’m currently using iPhone 13 Pro Max because the battery is great as compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max that I was using previously.
I have the se 3rd generation and I am thinking of switching to IPhone 11 but I don’t know. Please leave recommendations. Thanks
If you want that superior battery life & cameras that go ahead
I’ll stick to my 12 mini for another year, I love the size and it’s a great phone.
My daughter bought an iPhone 11 at launch and she is still really happy with it (22yr and using it A LOT 😂)
My oldest son (15 yr) have the 12pro and he really love it BUT he admit that the pro model maybe is a liiiitle unnecessary and maybe not worth the extra money up from the standard 12.
My youngest son (9yr) have the SE (2) and I must say, it’s a great phone for that price!
If you want a iPhone, you can’t really go wrong with any of them 😄
What’s the point of a 9 year old having a phone?

I have a 13 mini and it’s nice, I love the panel. I like the processor and the performance/battery is decent, If you just want a small flagship phone the, I would recommend a 13 mini or 12 mini is good but and I have an iPhone 8 alongside the 13 mini.
Due to some issues with my iPhone 11 I went and got an iPhone 12, and I love it a lot. It’s a great phone and it just does what I want it to.
i’m thinking about getting the iphone 11 since i still have the iphone se 2nd gen do you think i should get the 11 or 12
@@grandpayoongi7619 Go for the 12
@@grandpayoongi7619 I would go for the 11 as someone who has a 12. It’s a much better deal vs the 12 when they’re almost the exact same phone. Coming from someone who had an 11 but it broke so I got a 12 ONLY cuz my replacement had an upgrade
Thanks for your video. I am presently using the 13 Pro Max. I look forward to your content this new year. Blessings on your day and new year.
How’s the battery life
Just upgraded from the 11 PM to my iPhone 13 pro max in Graphite Im in love all over again 👌
Currently been using the 12 pro for almost a year. It’s been great so far. Don’t feel the need to upgrade anytime soon 👍
on the 12 pro max, the battery barely gets me thru the day anymore at 92% health. im looking forward to the 14 pro max tho
Great REVIEW ! ! ! Thanks for not beating around the bush and getting to the point of the iPhones. Take Care ! ! !

Nope its trash
I upgraded from my XR to a 12, good upgrade and I’m happy with what I got
I’m about to do that, how is everything holding up with the 12?
I absolutely love my iPhone 13 pro. Before this I had the iPhone XR, then the SE 2 then the 11. But the iPhone 13 pro was what did it for me..considering I used android my entire life.
How is the 13 pro better than the XR?
@@tnilemusic lol
I still don’t know. What iPhone I have it has 2 cameras and is pink if anyone know tell me and I didn’t have enough time to watch full video
I’m fine with my 12 pro max as I feel the 13 pro max doesn’t offer any significant improvement over mine. If the 14 pro max this year doesn’t have a huge improvements on its camera and o/s then it’s off to a Samsung S22 ultra which I’m sure will have.
Camera wise the 13 pro max is a huge jump. But unless you're pixel peeping, I doubt it'll matter to you. I love cameras and even I'm happy with my 12 pro max. However, if I have access to my tripod I'll use my OnePlus 9 Pro 10 times over before I use my iPhone. iPhone still the best at videos however.
@@pettyoffndebe163 being in a wheelchair a large optical zoom would be a great help, otherwise I wouldn’t bother so much. The video on my 12 pro max is great, I’m hoping that the 14 pro max really does have a 10x optical (periscope) zoom this year otherwise I might try Samsung
@@mikecoshan3752 the 14 pro most likely won’t have a periscope zoom lens. But it still worth waiting bc the ultra may be discounted by then

I’m not a fan of it I have big hands and I can’t really type and it’s just a little small

That depends on if you’re sensitive to OLED PWM or not. If you are, only the SE, 11, or 13 Pro/Max will work. I have the 13 Pro and I absolutely love it.
Um you do know that the Pro and Pro Max also have OLED right. The 11 is a perfect upgrade from my 7.
I usually upgrade every year or two, but i’ve had the 11 since it dropped, and havent cared to upgrade. Especially since it has the mint color that is my faaaavorite. Probably will upgrade when the 14 drops, but the 12&13 didnt seem enticing enough. I will admit the 13 pro is extremely fast and the camera is amazing tho!!
