Nobody gives you respect because of what you can do they give people respect because they want to be like you (admiration) or because you have something that they want in order to make their life better. (Desire for your help) thirdly people will respect you if you generally act like someone who is fun or knows how to make things fun (love or enjoyment of your person). Being good at best gets you acknowledgement but can as easily get you envy or antagonism is you demonstrate your easily upset. If you’re looking for respect be nicer to people and don’t be so triggered, this is commonly referred to as “being cool”.
That Vanguard player would really be trouble if he learned the more optimal combo routes. He doesn't seem to be aware you can OTG with Impact Strike or that after Doom Glaive you can follow up with Earthshatter even from stupid range for extra damage. Or his rejump route. There's so much more the character can do.

Aside from what bout say really the only way to deal with people like this is to ignore them sadly and i wish they just keep their thoughts to themselves if nothing to say nice. I get the annoyance and Sol never comes off as toxic to me honestly . But being in the FGC or just streaming while people are constantly trying to antagonize over simple things can be annoying and when it's called out they call that person "soft". All in all sol is a cool guy and i will never understand why people can't just show respect to their opponents in fighting games. I guess it's a pride or ego thing so ill never know i guess besides that keep up the good work sol and good video showcasing importance of footsies in DNF before game comes out.

Never mind. Watched your vanguard. You were probably thinking in your mind, "he's not using 5M to stop Striker 2M" considering that's all you pressed with Vanguard and you didn't even have optimized combos like this Vanguard I fought. Also the striker you fought didn't know how to play footsies at all. If you watched my video instead of disrespecting players, you would find that he did do 5M and I whiff punished it 6:41 . You felt like you could mash all over the striker player you fought. I at least tried to play neutral and forced him to respect my approach. We are not the same.
@@SonicSol how big do you feel talking down to a day 2 Vanguard based on a single clip, simply wanting to satiate their curiosity on what high-level gameplay looks like? I didnt know who tf you were til today, but now I know you earn all the disrespect you get swarmed with on the regular

@@DaviddeBergerac idk, seems like most throws push them far away and they IMMEDIATELY get up pretty much, you can probably get oki in corner but I dont think much more.
@@skepticalsky8235 I've also seen them used to punish gaps in blockstrings if you're stuck in the corner and they're right up on you. They definitely feel frame 1. Usually though throws are about getting into the opponent's head more than doing damage

These combos remind me of Battle for the grid. Are people even paying attention to who the devs of this game are? Do people even remember how offensive dbfz and umvc3 are? Seems like everyone forgot and already complaining about sh!T. Can't we just have ONE modern fighting game as cheap as MvC2 to have fun with again? I literally can't stand all the "balance" cry babies. Just learn to deal with the cheapness or simply play something a little more fair.
