I'd been looking for a flanger and trying to decide between the usual suspects (BF-3, Polychrome, E.Lady,...). Never heard of this one but came across it while browsing local used pedals. Instantly mesmerized by the sound/playing in your demo. Took a day to think it over but I knew I'd be pretty bummed if it'd be gone. Currently awaiting a payment request from the seller, hopefully I'll have the pedal sometime next week. Very excited! Kinda love it when I'm having a hard time deciding between a few pedals, and then another one pops up that makes me forget about all the other ones.
I'm not sure I purchased this flanger after watching this video but this demo absolutely made me look at mine in a totally different way. Its my favorite modulation pedal, I love how it can go from ray gun sounds to my favorite "chorus" tone.
Just got the Sub Zero version, without knowing that there were 2 different kinds, what a gorgeous pedal nonetheless! Has me considering selling my Boss CE2
I can't wait for mine to arrive. I've never been a big fan of chorus pedals myself, but I've been wanting something chorus-like, just a little different. Something to fill the role of a chorus pedal but sound a little different, if that makes any sense lol. I think this is exactly what I've been looking for... the demo sounds great btw
Another Excellent DEMO Dude! I think this is officially the best demo of this seriously awesome sounding Flanger! Thanks for Collecting and Emitting this for us!
@@collectoremitter i'm also super interested in hearing this! thank you for your lovely channel. great tasteful playing and demonstrations of the range (but also the USABLE SOUNDS) the pedals can produce.
I just come thru regardless of what you demo, ever since your meris enzo demo. Cause as old a notion as the electric guitar is,somehow your turnings and cadences make these tired, jaded ears perk up. Thanks for that.
One of the more dialed in Flangers available; though I do like some of the range of the Pyramids, it's harder to set, and more of a knob tweaker delight.Something to be said for simple formats with modulations. I'd look @ the Walrus Chroma as well, - great headroom and fidelity.
"Fully clockwise will result in a continuous downward cycle" lmao I guess my life is fully clockwise then Seriously though, quality video as always, definitely neglected checking this pedal out but goddamn you make me want to cop one
Never really wanted a flanger, but this sounds great - great demo (the only good demo for this) but no clean tone given to compare and sounds a little thin. Is there a noticeable bass cut? Is this the same as the Tunnelworm pedal?
I haven’t noticed any bass cut, but I don’t play super low so there might be. Usually flanger sounds a bit thin from the actual flange, but there’s not any eq shaping
Have you noticed any noise issues with this pedal? I just got one and as soon as I plugged it in it was already flanging before I'd even made a sound. Could be a power supply issue? I tried a few different ones with it but haven't tried just battery yet .
Could be dirty power coming from your wall outlet causing your guitar to hum low enough that you don't hear it without modulation engaged. Also might be a grounding issue with your guitar that is causing your guitar to hum very quietly. If you have something with really hot pickups then you may be close enough to your amp that it's feeding back when you engage the pedal. Just some ideas...
I already have and love this pedal but the video is beautiful I had to subscribe. Even though I know that I’ll watch the others from you and end up buying stuff I can’t afford. Why do this to myself.

It's my favorite flange. The constant through zero is bliss on anything from Smashing Pumpkins to Death.
Thanks a lot for your experiment-type approach to review the pedal.
For me it is far more useful and relevant than playing-through one.
Appreciated!!
Now I am more inclined to buy one.
This demo pretty much sells the pedal. Excellent stuff.

Downward modulation with negative regen sounds really nice.
That’s my favorite too! It’s so beautiful
Mike from YOB used this for the album Our Raw Heart, and it sounds gorgeous.
Great video. I have this flanger - and I love it - but it's good to see a wider demonstration of its capabilities.

Oooh, I gotta mess with fuzz and this to see what I can come up with! Thanks for the support as always 😄

thanks for the extremely kind words ❤️
This demo is great, definitely wanna grab one soon
One of my very favorite pedals
It might be up there for me too! It’s just so inspiring

Thanks so much! 😄
Wanted one for years, nearly forgot about that one. Now I have to handle the GAS again. :D
I know they're different, but do you prefer this or the Tunnelworm flanger? Which one has a more unique sound?
👍🏿🤘
Another great video. Pedal sounds great, but what about noise?
This flanger is dead silent!
@@druariel thanks!

Hahaha, same! And thank you! It’s definitely an underrated pedal, so I’m glad this demo is helping to change that 😄

Is this a standard center negative 9v powered pedal?
Brooooooooooo shit is fucking IDEAL

it has chorusy vibe, right?
Yeah, absolutely! Flanger and chorus are very closely related so sometimes the line blurs

Do you have reverb on as well or is all that space coming from the shepard's end?
No reverb, just clean guitar and the Shepard’s End!
No distorted EVH jet flanging demonstration... Boo...
Jet flanging are for boomers
No depth knob makes me sad. Why does it only go so deep?
