The tabs without writing aren't because they change thread - it's because the red tab itself is trademarked and (I believe) they need to satisfy some requirement to maintain it..
It's not always necessary that it'll always be written "Levi's" in small letters at the back in the red tab. Sometimes it is also all written in capital letters like "LEVI'S".

It isn't necessarily better but it definitely signifies that if someone have those they are well off. I don't see any problem with that as people who have money have the right to buy whatever they want and flex their wealth. People can easily serve their purpose with a Honda City but it doesn't mean they can't go for a Mercedes or a Lamborghini.

The big E fact is wrong. I contacted the Levi's and they stated that it depends on the designer. They still produce jeans with the big E.

Just 2 or 3 collection have big E. Like Levi's Super Mario has Blue tab on side of back pocket... They're setting a different trend now 👍🏻

Printing of red tab in capital letters are started again on few special articles since a year or two
And numbers or details on the back of the zip isn't advised, no branded Levi's has these matching numbers on back of the zipper, heard it first time only by you
Levis also used YKK zipper as well I Agree but I have not seen the capital red tab Jeans in Levis store I think they are selling in some areas

Some years later, it reappeared briefly because the factory in France had been sent the wrong artwork to produce their tags.
Hopefully they sorted the legalities out this time. LOL
Since Levi's are manufactured all over the world and a lot of local products are used. their have been literally hundred of differences over the years.
Recently, all the public interest has been free publicity for the company. Many of the differences were simply due to shortage of a product and an alternative was used. Their are probably no records dating back more than a few years.

But your 511 zippers seems to have a stopper at the top of the zip. Authentic Levi's does not have stoppers.

Rubbish!! Levis 'Premium' have a big 'E' on the tab. Premium Levi's also have a label inside the trouser behind the patch saying 'Levi's Premium'. Also Premium have a leather patch. A capital E on the tab doesn't mean fake.
