Nice Vid! I also bought a couple pairs. The guy at the Levi's Premium Store told me for the "Midnight Rinse" immediately wash them in cold water with a table spoon of white vinegar to lock in the color. After that, only wash if necessary in cold water inside out and hang dry.
Not if you follow above. Also if you turn them inside out and spritz them (spay) with white vinegar and hang outside you don't have to wash them as often.
Im a very thin man, my measumerents: height 172cm/5ft 7f. weight: 60kg /132.3lb waist: 29 .Last i try this 511 i notice that on waist area are nice, on thighs acceptable but calves and ankle area have a lot of excess material. This jeans give me this bellbottoms look . Or if i cuffed them the leg opening stick outside the outline of the shoe a lot, making this "flood" pants effect. My brother with much huskier build look very good in them . But i dont recommended them for "thiner" man. I need pick up 510 because they look more like slim fit jeans on me.

Is there a size difference between blue and black Levis 511 slim fit? Is the same size 36 for both blue and black? Because I bought the blue 38 size, and it seems to me that they Are to comfortable for me. And when I tried size 36 black ones, I could not get into them. Tnx
Levi's are the only jeans that have stood up to working and exercise and also lounging about without ripping or tearing or fading excessively. The only time I have ever gotten a tear was when I accidently cut them myself lol. Levi's ARE the meat and potatoes 😎

I like the 513s more, but Levi’s discontinued them, the 513 is the same as the 511, but with a slightly larger leg opening, pretty much a straight leg opening, in my experience even the 511s sit on top of the sneakers. My favorite is the 505 though, right around an 8 inch leg opening, but I can wear them with anything up to a cowboy boot, I can’t do that with 511s.
I'll work on a list video, but off of the top of my head brands that make similar fits at the higher end A.P.C, Acne, Rogue Territory, Saint Laurent. Naked & Famous is a pretty good brand too, but their designs are more "adventurous"

I usually will buy a piece from ASOS or H&M first to see if I actually like it then go buy a better quality one elsewhere if I really like it. I'm still relatively new to wearing more jewelry other than watches or a basic necklace, so I'm still experimenting myself. Yeah, they take a few wears to break in. I would recommend not washing them for 5 wears. Levi's says 10 but that's a bit much to me. Be sure to let them hang dry too or no heat tumble. If you dry with heat they will snap back to the original feeling.
I'm done with stretch jeans, even tho they are the comfiest when new, but they were so fast, I'm throwing out 3 pairs of jeans bc they are sacky AF, looks like they are 2 sizes to big. not the most sustaniable

@@ChrisRawls I have a pair of 1978 LVC selvedge levis that are a 501 that I like and I just picked up a pair of slim fit Uniqulo Selvedge jeans in a 31/30 that fit really great. The 501's are 100% cotton and the uniqlos are 98% cotton with 2% nylon for a slight stretch. I also have some 505's that fit pretty well

I was actually thinking about doing an update video. So far so good honestly. They've kept their shape and length, no noticeable fading or tears.

Mine is 99% cotton with 1% elastane. How is Mine?
Should still be pretty good. Maybe a little less stretch in them but that will be the biggest difference.
