Mr.Someone \Tom/ jailbars stopped being produced before the dual toned chopper came out for the thunderbolt. Therefore there are no original dual toned jailbar thunderbolts
2:05 the other sirens ambiance did the most blood cuddling yet beautiful sound, and especially when the other siren's pitch changes it's JUST perfection!
Yeah the chopper motor just wasn't working at all. It's funny, the blower makes the chopper sound like it's moving just slightly because of the pulsey sound. A1 blowers rule!
Will Butter I never knew where it went to for awhile now but I think Blue Valley Public Safety has it in their lot along with several other Thunderbolts, some being stripped for parts. I highly doubt they would use this siren for parts as it is pretty worn down being a near first generation Thunderbolt.
MOM ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE It unfortunately is never going to be back in service. It is currently still sitting in retirement at Blue Valley Public Safety’s siren lot in Grain Valley.
As far as I know, this 1000T has been running for years but in the video, it’s actually not the blower itself, but it’s actually a temporary replacement motor that was used for the test run of the 1000T, now it’s got the new blower and it’s been running fine since then. Go back to check it’s new blower sound
The reason I said this is because the Thunderbolt sirens commonly have to get their blowers replaced, which takes a lot of time, sometimes more than 2 months before the new blowers are installed. Because of this, the Thunderbolt sirens get temporary blowers that are designed for a 1000T model, so basically you actually heard the temporary blower sounding, but this one was a vintage 1978 P47568-3BF0 blower model that was discontinued in early 2005.
Dj Mario That’s correct! I just recently discovered that the Thunderbolt 1000T heard in this video is not the one on the power plant. I found a Thunderbolt mounted on a cell tower located in Sugar Creek about 3-4 miles from my position in this video.
So you did hear that blower having issues, probably because of it being an oil-fired engine. It was most likely low on fuel and/or was leaking out oil from its engine which was not seen in the video. Hopefully the Thunderbolt 1000T siren is operating well with the motor it has now. 😊
This siren was deactivated in 1999, but it was still running from its old siratrol. This siren has been replaced with a DSA after like 18 years since It was deactivated. And Its a jailbar Thunderbolt 1000 by the way.
Kilemeino Calvire This Thunderbolt is at Blue Valley Public Safety in Grain Valley. If you check out ShowMeSirens130’s channel, he just posted a slideshow of the sirens there. The heavily rusted Thunderbolt in his video is this Thunderbolt.
This siren was supposed to be deactivated in the early 2000's, but it's still running on the old siratrol, surprisingly
Stormsetter4 single or dual toned?
Carlos Aponte I believe it's single tone.
Single, it's a bar grille
It being a Jail Bar does not mean that it is single tone. This one is single tone as you say but you do get dual tone jailbars.
Mr.Someone \Tom/ jailbars stopped being produced before the dual toned chopper came out for the thunderbolt. Therefore there are no original dual toned jailbar thunderbolts

The tune of the blower is very creepy in my opinion
Don't think it's that siren making a sound

I see you everywhere I the siren vids
@@jisso_fantasticfantasticalt yeah back in the day I used to comment a lot. I don’t as much now, and when I do it’s through my siren channel now

3:57. Air rushing out of chopper?
Tempest 128 I think that’s the 6M Blower Sound...
2:05 the chopper tries to start up
I dub it the "Silent Wail".
Some really great siren ambiance at least!
According to Google Maps, this building has a Whelen WS series now.

I have never seen a thunder bolt that only rotates
