Fake Shure Beta 58A from Wish.com Review

- I ordered a cheap microphone from wish, the same one shown on Geek. It did not advertise the Shure logo, but the actual product had it. This is my unboxing and review.

Some of the current sm57s listed on wish CLEARLY use real mics as marketing, and the packages are getting so close / good - it’s insanely scary. The average user wouldn’t know the difference. I played a venue that had these , and he legit said “you guys sounded like shit. I’m running mostly 57’s yada Yada etc etc. I tried to explain he had fakes.Wide eyed lying was all I got. Nah man. “Ordered straight from Shure”
Like... dude... I’m an audio engineer. Lolz
On the flip side, the Pyle copy is pretty good. Sounds great, but all of the knock off shures I found were pretty bad

Yesterday I bought Shure Beta 58A.Its heavy, Logo looks ok and sound quality is good. But only thing I am concern is "the blue ring is loose and gets twisted". Is that mic is fake?
I paid AUD $214.00 instead of AUD $249.00.Also, Beta 58A looks black colour instead of Blue.
If someone needs a $20 mic, they should get a Behringer XM8500 instead. It comes with a nice case, and you know you’re not supporting a counterfeiter.
Ordered one off wish . Has no volume what so ever with it cranked full on a PA system. Got a full refund and didn't have to send it back. Might just tear it apart and see if I can find another cheap mic to swap the guts out with.

Dude, you didn't even use it for anything. Let's hear some vocals. I got a pyle 57 that's a rip off of the Shure sm57 and they sound different but you'd be hard pressed to call one better than the other. Mics, pickups, guitar brands, everything music SHURE seems to be a bit of a brand whore scam to me.
I agree I have some pyles that are great. This thing is not great. I didn't use it on camera because between the mic on a cell phone and the speakers the viewer would listen through it would negate the purpose

Okay nope nobody said it. The dude that says “he sounds gay, downvote” is mean but I have the same problem with his comment that I have with this video.
Keep in mind I’m not saying I don’t believe this is a fake. I do not work for Wish; I genuinely don’t give a shit either way. This is about your video content.
You have literally no evidence to support your claim of it being fake. Sure your video says “here are some examples of technical flaws with this product” and that in and of itself could imply the instance of forgery but all it really says is you got a lemon from Shure.
You said in the video that you didn’t have a real Beta 58 to compare
Dude then stop recording and go get one. If you don’t have one it’s not science. Plain and simple.
I really wanted this to be the answer to my question and it didn’t answer my question. And the video is supposed to be about answering my question

Commit to the craft of what you’re doing with doing these videos like you would commit to music as a lifestyle in itself.
Without the genuine comparison this is just a shitty unboxing video.
