I took a blanket to school once and accidentally left it in class. It was really sentimental, I called as soon as I realized I left it and told them what it looks like and asked them to put it in lost and found. They told me they’d let the cleaning crew know to put it in lost and found, the cleaning crew stole it. (Speculation, but it was the last period of the day, no one would’ve gone into this class, and it was never returned to the lost and found.)
