If we could have some sort of graphic or document detailing the build orders featured in these videos, that'd be fantastic! Love your content, keep up the great work mate
I'm a simple man. I see anew aussie drongo video, i hit like. A+ material man im learning a lot of the nuance of the game from your videos. I'm pretty experienced in rts games but these have helped for THIS particular game and its quirks. The aging and home city shipments have taken some getting used to.
Very interesting !! I wish so much a recap on a PDF ! It would be perfect (with passage's time and other things like number of settlers, etc) Bets regards from France
So it's TP > 14 vil up > all vills on wood + wood gov> market + rax > vill card + wood card + some military> coin card and advance asap. It works with the portuguese too, right?
Hi Aussie, thanks for all the quality content helping me stay completive with my friends! One question- you have great info on discord too, but I was hoping you might be able to add something to your deck builds- I used to use step by step written notes on build order and card disbursement for each civ, making it easy to follow along while you gain experience. You already provide much of the info in video, but it's much harder to follow along with. Just a thought. Thanks again for all your help!
Nice and clear video ! I have 2 questions though. Is this strategy viable in 2v2 and how to survive a very early rush from the ottoman or the russian for exemple with this strategy ?
Really loved the demonstration. If you are against a french player Semi FF what could you do? I found it to BE really Hard to defeat them with SEVERAL civs. If you were on the other foot (as japanese) what would you do to counter the semi FF?
You could semi ff as well as Japan or just ff or you could try some aggressive play. You have 2x2 flaming arrows to handle the 2 falcs. You have ashi nagi yumi, all nice upgradable units.
Ether a very quick and deadly rush to trap thr opponent in age 2 like a russian, otto, Hawne or inca 4:30 are all viable rushes And like a german or dutch FF should work too
Ive found that putting in the age 1 300 wood shipment helps a bit. 300 vills into 300 wood in ageup gets a house in transition and a rax/stable in age 2 a bit faster. It means 4 vills comes a few seconds later but it gives you flexibility in your early age
Very questionable ... because immediately after the six-minute mark, you are perpetually short of shipments, so wasting two on Age I cards will be a huge hindrance. The problem is not really the 4 Coureur card, but the one after it. You should ideally have 2 shipments nearly ready when you age up.
@@AbdunK99 the Xp from house and your military building kinda make up for it. I wouldn't always do it but on maps where you're short on wood it's nice. It's one of those speed vs sustainability gambits
@@thesheq5023 Yes, only probably on water maps, I would say. Even then, highly (and needlessly) risky. But I appreciate your ingenuity! I play super crazy myself, to be honest, never sticking to anything.
@@AbdunK99 ive been on a maltese kick recently but on a slower age 2 build where you go 3 vills 3 wagons into yeoman or better production near towers into 2 towers and go for age 3 lancers or age 4 french cav. It’s a weird game but i like the durdle turtle game plans
@@thesheq5023 I have bought the DLC, but just trying super hard to make Italy work. Not played Malta even once. I hear their economy is trash except on Water.
Sorry Jyotsna! I actually include it in some of my decks, but it depends on the civilisation, as an example, Swedish team decks I include it. Normally it can be hard to find a place to ship it though as there are more important things to ship.
It's probably because: 1. in 1v1s, you rely on hunts & mines for the majority of the game 2. in 1v1s, unit & resource crate shipments are superior, because they provide immediate value.
Just what i was looking for, thanks Aussie
Too, had almost the same ff. but that does help a kot

Dude i found ur channel right at the start and you are blowing up so quickly! Love the vids ur my favorite aoe youtuber
This was awesome. More like this please!
I hope after the ff guide series you could do Civ overview series.
It's really good for introducing the game to new players.
Great help with my game. Keep it up!
07:24 Excellent micro that made all the difference.
Disappointed there was no clickbait red arrow in the thumbnail, but still a good vid.

Perfect! Thanks for the nice build order demonstation! Do you have the written down build order somewhere?

ausie love ur videos! can u pls cover the haudenosaune/iroquois ???
How is your game so zoomed out? Are you using a wide monitor or a mod?
I play on 1920 x 1080 res so maybe a different res will be more zoomed out?
Damn Aussie you need to look up the pronunciation of naginata. Great content though keep it up!
Hi Aussie, I tried controling the map, massing musks/cossacs and still did not strike pro Frenches, any advice ?
Thank you for Guides can you make Germany Russians for 2v2 3v3 ? please
Mam i pulled this strat nice tight. Everything went well until the samurai’s came in 🙄.. I couldn’t find a way to counter them
Please do a guide on how to do a Germany fast fortress!! I love Germany and the vids!!
Germans play pretty much the same, just the housing is more tight as they get the uhlans per shipments. You could make bow pike instead of musk.
Can you make a video like that but with the Lakota?
Are there any strategies around native units/techs?
Aussie you didnt replied why Pros dont include LANDGRAB card in their deck? Despite the fact they so so much wood
Sorry Jyotsna! I actually include it in some of my decks, but it depends on the civilisation, as an example, Swedish team decks I include it. Normally it can be hard to find a place to ship it though as there are more important things to ship.
It's probably because:

2. in 1v1s, unit & resource crate shipments are superior, because they provide immediate value.
Now that they made plantations cheaper, it's even less good.
@@longa132 I am taking about team games. In one 1v1 game usually ends quite early
Aussie, do a Civ Tier list, pointing out, early, mid and late game
Which map is this again? It's one of my favorites but I forget the name.
Can you write these out in the description?
Nice :)
Is the church with its exp trickel a vaible option if there are no TP's ?
