WTAF with the economy of this nation Seriusly, even if you go full army with a ff with the Spanish this will be your doom, they will just be able to spam units in your face with that eco
Try the cheese age 2 tactic as inca with pikes or any nation that has xboxs and pikes can deal with sweden in age 2...but in the top tier players, Sweden is too good right now while casuals dont know or are too afraid to use the torps in their max strength
@@dimitrisoikonomou3568 As Spain I can send shipments of pikemen and a good amount of upgrades for them so I could try, but even if I kill thei torps early in age 2 they will still have a strong econmy with which they want start creating mosquetiers to totally destroy the pikemen. While if I wait and do a ff they will be already with a stronge enough economy to completely resist the ff while doing eco boom
Btw, could you make a tutorial on generally useful pieces of information? In the original AOE3 you could tell quite a bit by the score. 1k score used to be 10k recouses i believe, dependin on how the score developed you could tell if somebody just bought an ageup. But the scores are way higher now in the DE so is there also a correlation between recouses and score and if so, whats the correlation. Does the recouses spent on an age up still count as recouses lost until you get the ageup and therefore reflect on the score? Whats the effectiveness of the tradeposts on the different maps? There are a bunch of new and reworked maps and in the original aoe3 there were maps where the tradeposts were very efficient and others that werent. Maybe also talk about the cards that were buffed like the 5 coyote card of aztecs. just a general tips and tricks video :) also, is there a way to deactivate the map shaking whenever a building explodes? i understand that there is an explosion when a large warship gets destroyed, those things carry a large amount of gunpowder. but why does a house explode? its really annoying xD

I'm not sure I agree with the excessive safe play. I would think that after eliminating the german army your remass would be much superior (owing to a vastly larger economy). Caroleans have the ability to just overwhelm enemy skirmishers in melee and can run away from bad fights, so you can poke with lower risk. Giving the German more time allows your torps to exhaust their mines and him to boom up and recover. The swedish advantage exists in the huge torp economy; Those had run out by 25min. That 15min fight seems like it was the time for a counterpush once you had another 10-20 caroleans trained, rather than waiting another 10 minutes.
I didnt see when the game ended, but is am certain that is say at least two mines not depleted yet by the end of the video. Its doesnt matter how good his amry was, i believe that he was just playing the game (and with the psycholigy of the German player)

Awesome content as always man, keep it up. A few questions I'd like to ask about your opinion: 1. Don't you think murdering your 3rd hunt is a bit overkill for this build? At about 10 minutes of the game you might get severely hunt starved if you do that so early... Do the blueberry card really compensate for that? 2. This is more of a tip than a question but I think you can increase efficiency in the transition by using your herding vills to shoot a hunt and immediatelly go to wood (if there are tress nearby ofc), speeding up the torps by a few seconds and avoiding hunt decay a little. This is more important with brits than with sweden I feel, but it's a small thing that can get you a long way (imagine as brits, having 2 extra animals under the TC instead of having them dead in no man's land when you're up against a contain strategy! Anyways I had another question, but I completely forgot, so maybe if I remember I'll post it as a reply later ^^ Great work!
I am trying to make the 3 vill shipment as first shippment work, but whenever I can't get a tp the instant blueberries feels so much stronger in teamgames(Even with exp treasures the 700 wood is far too late if I go for early ironworks, might try what you did here and go for it before ironworks).
I had a guy try this sorta thing against me (French) and Spanish In the end we smashed their eco's cause Ol mate got stuck at 27 villies till about 45min. Can confirm the troop combo is bloody difficult to beat. Even if the guy mismanaged his eco, he pushed hard as hell when my army died. team mate's lancers saved the day and Imperial gendarmes ruined him late game though (the french cav is still too OP).

While its a good card, its not top tier, because 4 torps equals 460 wood and both age 2 wood cards give you more wood. Yes you risk your settlers but they are not the backbone of your eco, the torps are. Plus you want settlers to put the hunts on top of the mines, the torps cant do that themselves.

Well, Spain is a nation that doesnt have any special unit for dealing with inf until age 3 so if you are playing 1vs1 you will be wanting to do any kind of ff that allows you reach the age 3 safe and build an army of lanceros for at least be able to counter any posible rush. So yeah, you can say Spain is different with the ff because they actually need It in order to have chances of winning vs every nation
I see why you went for blueberries with massig carolians, but would it be better to skip blueberries if you know you want to go full mercenaries and very fast imperial?
Can you make a video on how to use grenadiers? I know they were buffed. And I think they might do well against caroleans, as both muskets and skirms lose to caroleans?

caroleans are good against cavalry on their ranged mode, so if u see cavalry, put ur caroleans on ranged, now if im correct the melee attack is not powerful against something in particular, it is just a powerful melee attack

Imo, he didn't make a tactical mistake to go in. The issue was that he fucked up his micro and lost a fight he should have won. He had enough to crush the fight but it seems like he afk'd in the beginning of the fight, which allowed the Caroleans to close into the cannons unpunished. If he gets 4 falcs that close to the art foundry he can snipe the culv that was about to pop before a single falc is lost to it (culvs 2 shot a falc but falcs also do if they're in range). The main tactical risk he took was that a 5 huss card could be on the way during the siege and could pop from the TC right next to his falcs at that point (but the way I see it is that it was unlikely since he saw the 2 falcs pop if I'm not mistaken)
Oh, I forgot to mention that drongo's eco was so high that he wouldn't mind losing a tc at that point, he already had 600w stacked at the end of the fight and could immediately rebuild it if he wanted to. This means that as long as he doesn't lose his whole army to the opponent's timing he should be fine for the rest of the game
I dont think their in a good place right now. I feel like their ruining team games. Every match has one dominating the game and its agrivating. Honestly if i could host a match in ranked i would kick them every time, but ranked doesn't give us that option.
There's tons of free language courses online you can take. This guy speaks very nice and clear though. English is not my first language but I forget that when listening to drongo.

French in team games is still very strong, they have a huge eco, but thankfully they need to create a lot of stables and not just one anymore.

How about the four toro card instead of the wood which saves u the villager time of building them and they get built faster

They can, sometimes the torps do bug and will not gather from some resources nearby.

It means greedy, going for a very strong economical build and forgoing defence.
Are Uhlans considered not as good as Hussars? The low HP makes them a little too flimsy for my liking. I may just be using them wrong.

You can build up to 6 torps around a mine, although because it is tricky to do such I usually do 5; is there a particular reason you are only doing 4?
Because it's easy to do in a pinch
they gather all resources and the mine is out. no point of torp! less vision on map. but safer to put 6 in base. less risk on being demolished!
Wish i could kick sweden in ranked 3v3 games. Still too op.
these are not very fast ageups. Russia should destroy u in a game like this..
