Bassmaster Opens EQ (Lake Ouachita Day 2)

After a solid day 1 in the Bassmaster Open on Lake Ouachita I was fired up to tackle the big timber and grass filled lake again for day 2! Lake Ouachita is one of the most unique lakes I’ve ever fished for the reason of the mix of clear water, grass, and timber. It was a challenge to say the least but I was dialed to using my go to bait the Z-man Nedmiki system. Watch as I catch another solid bag of bass culling out multiple spotted bass on my way to a 21st place finish!

I am so glad I have left the tournament fishing. There is no more throwing a crankbait, spinnerbait and hunting for the bass. There was not one fish that you caught that you were not hunched over your FFS screen. I am not blaming you here, you have to do what you need to do to try to cash a check. I can assume your neck will killing you being hunched over so much. Now days, I fish for the fun of it, the sport of it and the hunt is almost as fun as the catch.
