Before we start talking about greatest season ever, maybe we should take a look at McBeth's 2015 season. He won 20 of the 26 tournaments he played, had 4 2nd place and 2 3rd place finishes (he never was lower than 3rd). He also won all 4 majors. Gannon is really good, but people tend to forget history. He has an incredible future if he stays healthy, and I look forward to what he will become.
That is a good point but it was also a decade ago, and Paul wasn't winning by nearly as many strokes. The field has gotten SOOOO much better, that even with an insane 20/26 tournaments for Paul, Gannon's wins feel much more dominant. I'm not sure if that makes it a better season or not, just saying that strict numbers aren't the only factors here!

Man, Gannon is an unstoppable force. Every time him and Ricky come down to the final round pairing and you see Gannon with ice in his veins deflating Ricky's confidence is just amazing to watch. Hats off to Gannon, if he rounds out the rest of the year it would be something else.

Gannon, did it again. The kid is killing it. Ricky again another 2nd place. He reminds me of a PBA (Professional Bowler Association) bowler. Who always gets a 2nd place, & has rivals within the tour, he eventually wins over time & other tournaments and multiple majors then gets inducted into the Hall of Fame. So Ricky will do it, I'm thinking it's Gannon is just on a hot streak right now. I myself had experienced the same thing in PBA tournaments for pros and amateurs. Congrats on the win Gannon for another win and Ricky will get his win eventually, he's just too good! Love all the pros, it keeps me entertained!
Jerm said AB won three out of the first four tournaments, but it was actually three out of the first five tournaments. Gannon won at Waco and Niklas won at Austin. AB’s wins at Texas State and Jonesboro came after those earlier tournaments. Still an amazing point that Jerm made.
If Anthony Barela could be just a little more consistent I think he could be the one to step up and challenge Gannon in this new era. As it stands right now it’s just Gannon and then everyone else

I know the announcers want to create excitement around this sport but every single throw cannot be the greatest throw of all time. You might consider taking it down a notch.
As long as Gannon doesn't do a stupid move and get injured like Eagle, we're clearly going to be in the era of Gannon. Gannon is not just a woods golfer or open course golfer, he is the whole package.
I'm not a the biggest Eagle fan, but I don't think an injury is a "stupid move" unless there's more about it I don't know. It's not like Eagle fell off a motorcycle or hurt himself while drunk.
I guess Jussi knew what he was doing when he signed Gannon. Be curious in a few years how many more wins he has than Simon and eagle combined. Sweeping the DGPT+ and playoffs. 7 elite series wins. Not.a bad season.
Watching so not sure how it ends but either way I think Gannon is going to deal with mental health issues like Kristen Tater has due to being so damn good. He is the sort that everyone else turns into a target. That can get hard. Almost like people are rooting for you to lose and every time you win that gets worse. Hope he has a good therapist or at least healthy people around him.
He seems to be surrounded by family and people who like him. He's also so young that I don't think he feels the pressure the same way a 32-year-old parent probably does. Gannon could write off entire seasons and still be on Mt. Rushmore at this point. Only time will tell.

Feet are under the yellow rope, not the white rope. Yellow is the line for spectators, it should not have been setup that close to the OB line but can't fault spectators for being there.

Sooo... Worlds last year, held at GMC, had the winner finish at -46. In 5 rounds. Gannon just did that in 4. Thats generational disc golf right there.

Great tournament minus the OB inside circle 1 on a par 3. Hitting the basket should not result in an easy par putt at the OB edge.
