Hello I am new to Cricut-ing, why would you put sticky transfer tape on an iron on design when it’s clearly for sticky vinyl only? When it just to make this video, or an I missing something? I have used both iron on vinyl and infusable and never would I think to add transfer tape to a shirt then hot iron. Thanks for your time✌🏼
@@ADGaming-7619 ok I am using Cricut explore air 2. I am doing a HTV to hoodie and maybe do a car window vinyl. I just wasnt sure if it needed to be mirrored/flipped on those.
Hey there, at 0:14, is that DTF or sublimation transfer? It doesn't seem to have that typical DTF rubbery feel on the print, only the color got transferred?
He's not using vynil yall. It's sublimation aka ink. He is using cricuts brand. You can get a sublimation printer and make them. Vyinl and ink are 2 different things.
@@lexispapiunless you don’t have the space for a full size press. I have a big press and one of these. I take the small press on trips and can do shirts on hot fly. Big press is not something I can just drop into the closet of my motorhome.
That’s true i went to the store for that press and it was 350$ CAD, looked on marketplace and found a way better press for 180$ and it even came with the cap press and the coffee mug press and a bunch of extra stuff
Do you need different transfer tape for the heat transfer vinyl? I just got my Maker 3 and have only used the regular vinyl that came in my bundle so far 😅
Quick question, just wanted to start priting my own shirts with my drawings. From what I see in this what I need is a printer and a heating machine? Or is there something more?
I paid for a t-shirt with glitter design for my recent old school carnival cruise but after the 1st wash part of the design peeled. 😮 Can i fix this issue.
You don't use stickers lol Google how. You use infusible ink or do sublimation. Basically paper and tape to keep it from moving. He's using infusible ink.

I need more in depth vids, esp the type of materials for each transfer paper.
So far the mistakes I tend to have are
Not flipping my image
Laying the transfer the wrong way and messing up the iron lol
Do you have to flip the image?? Is this because you are using transfer paper?
@@chrisb8870 depends on the paper and how it’s printed
@@ADGaming-7619 will My words be backwards if I don't hit mirror on it before printing?
@@chrisb8870 if you use inkjet printer yes a dtf printer with film usually no

What is the printing name please
where did you buy that kind of heat press?
Which kind of paper should we use pls answer
Sir Ik I’m late but where do u buy the stickers
Mistake number one is using that press in the first place. For the price of that you can get a clam shell and get consistent even pressure.
That’s true but it depends your budget for a heating press. Not everyone can spend hundreds of dollars on a solid one
@@AndersonBluu I understand that but my point is this cricut press cost $200 you can get a clam shell bigger platen as well for 149-200
@@lexispapi Oh wow! I didn't know that (I'm not being sarcastic). Thanks for sharing! This will help people find quality heat presses on a budget.

What is the best shirt matirial for pressing?
I am pretty sure it is cotton.
Polyester pr cotton is ok need to get a spray for the shirt. Bc ink will fade on cotton.
NO ink needs polyester. Can use cotton but needs a spray so it does not fade.
@johnjohnson9003 what is the spray called please?
Quick question, just wanted to start priting my own shirts with my drawings. From what I see in this what I need is a printer and a heating machine? Or is there something more?
That’s a good start. The better the paper and heating press. The better print on the shirt 👌🏾
what transfer paper u used, like the transparent one
저는 흰색프린팅티셔츠반팔티에 청바지입고 싶어요😊
Is this the infusible ink? How does that work? I imagine you cannot just that with the cricut maker

You use polyester or cotton. If cotton you need to get the spray so it doesn't fade . Amie
Does the quality look like a sticker? Is this vynil or DTF GANG SHEET?

probably infusable ink or dye sublimation; i’ve used dye sublimation before on mesh shorts & it comes out just like this

No it's for when you press it so it doesn't move ans NOT transfer tape. Its high temp tape
And not vynil. It's a form of ink

Curious which tshirt brand model that was that didn't accept the print. Haven't experienced that yyyyet.
I don’t remember the brand but the issue happened due to the lack of pressure during the heating
That was a Gildan brand
How do I get those sticker things
Not stickers. They are designs using ink.
You use a cricut
What type or Paint or vinyl is that?
