i know this video is old but im bingeing skate content right now lol. what an awesome outdoor rink, we don't have anything like that where i live, barely any rinks at all really
Old but it feels like I made it yesterday🙂 Love our outdoor rinks, just wish we had a good indoor one. The grass is always greener right😄 Who you watching? Love me some Karen the Karrort, DirtyDeborahHarry and Queer Girl Straight Skates!
Damn, that’s annoying that your Veja pair collapsed so quickly. Do you reckon that you could take the insole to a cobblers and they could create a DIY pair?
Hi love your vid, but please tell me you reached out to customer service with both your pairs? They should have reimbursed you for sending faulty shoes ☹️☹️
You said, in the beginning of you video, the black ones were 39 (not 40 like you mention at the end?) and the whites ate 38 and snug. I'm having size 43eu in all my sneakers, but when i measure my feet, i'm 26,9/27cm,comparing to their chart that is 42eu. 43 is 27,9cm, that's quite a difference... So should i follow my measurements or my shoesize (mostly Vans sneakers, so comparable to Slades?)
So idk why i said 40 at the end . The black ones are a EU 39. The white ones are 38. I am a us womens 8. On the site the options were only a US 7.5 and US 8.5. So I went for the 8.5. That was equivalent to EU 39. If this was just a shoe it would be fine. There's a little space but not noticable as a shoe. BUT with the weight of the skate plate it feels more noticable and felt a little more unstable for me. The white ones are a size 38 and are snug but not uncomfortable. Both sizes" fit"but I prefer the smaller size/snug feeling in a shoe skate. Email them-see what they say.
@@MaryHadALittleHobby thx for the reply. Ok yes my 43 shoes always have a tiny bit of space in the front too, but 42 is often to small. But with the weight it's indeed different. I sent them a dm on insta, but they haven't responded yet. A tiny bit too big is better than uncomfortably to small. So safest bet is 43eu i think. 🤔. Thx again. Enjoy your skating 😀
@@MaryHadALittleHobby IF i buy them, I'll let ya know. Not sure yet. I started inline skating last summer at age 37 with a friend. It's a rare hobby here haha, ppl always look at us '' adults that inlineskate, weird'', i' ve never even seen someone rollerskating. Rollerskating looks way more difficult and not so ideal on our bad European roads, but it looks so chill in all videos, i must try. 😁 It' s just not cheap if i would only use it a few times, but at least I have shoes aswell with these 😎.
@@MaryHadALittleHobby Hi there. My Slades arrived just now. I ordered one size down, and as a shoe, my toe hits the front and are very snug. But as a skate, it doesn't bother me so far, but i can't test them outside for if i need to return them and i can't skate on quads yet haha. So i'm not sure. My heel is loser then my toes, so i guess if the shoe adapts to my feet, it will be ok. One size bigger will be to lose perhaps... I don't know. 🙄😒

You didn’t read the description box. Those broken shoes, she bought secondhand, that wasn’t the companies fault
Thanks for the review ❤️! Could you tell me what is your regular size and if your're finally more comfortable in 38 or 39 european size ?
I usually wear a size womens 8 US. I'm more comfortable in the euro 38 in the slades.
@@MaryHadALittleHobby thanks!

How long did it take to ship to the US?
I would also like to know, it’s been over 3 days for me and I still don’t have them😞
Very fast . 4 days with my black pair. 3 days with my white.
@@MaryHadALittleHobby I hope so, I’m tired of waiting 😵💫
