    Hi Zach,
Thank you for the review. Based on it and a lot of your tennis content, I just bought the Torneo v2, and after a couple a sessions I can say that I’m really happy with it. I found in these a lot of what you mentionned in your video. Used to play with the Vapor Cage, day and night in terms of confort, and I still have great support and stability ! Keep up the good work !

I just received these and they’re so comfortable. Great toe box as I didn’t go down a half size, they fit perfectly. Also, no insole needed for me as I’ve needed with all of my other recent shoes.

I noticed that Diadora also increased the height of the achilles collar at the back of the shoe - WHICH IS AWESOME! That was my one gripe with the Blushield 5 (and the Lotto Hyperpulse Raptor) - both GREAT shoes, but did aggravate my achilles tendon on occasion. Seems to me, with this shoe and the B.Icon - Diadora is the go to shoe in tennis at this time.

One comment regarding not being compatible with narrow feet ... I have narrow feet but I also use a thicker replacement insole, the 10-second brand. With the thicker insole, it's just perfect for narrow feet! Very snug no shifting side-to-side at all within the shoe. Just got this shoe with the clay-court sole and it is fantastic in all the ways you mentioned.

I ended up buying both because no one really is comparing similar models. I prefer the Diadora overall. More cushion, good feel, but I have to use runners knot. The Lotto I find is very rigid. My knees hurt after I wear them. But I like the fit ALOT in these. I don’t if the Lotto just needs breakin a bit. I also bout the Diadora blue fly. I really like these for speedier practice or games. Overall the torneo is my ‘go to’ shoe though.

Thanks for the review Zach this is everything you said and more coming from someone that has been struggling to step onto a tennis court for 12 months with a foot injury. I am about 5 hours into the play test and this shoe just keeps getting more and more comfortable every time i play. I did use a runner's knot so thank you for your advice. Not quite as stable as a sole match bounce but I can cover court amazingly quick, time will tell if stability issues mean I'll be heading back to addidas. Would love to see this shoe go head to head against either the gp turbo or the sole court boost, I feel like it's a middle ground of those two with stability and speed. even a three way test would be cool. The lateral stability was great, but after about 7 months, the upper part of the shoe started to spill over the outsole's when I'd hit the breaks going side to side. I found the Icon's a good 1/2 size long & too narrow in the forefoot so returned for the Torneo's which are much more true to size (lengthwise) & wider in the forefoot area. Also did not like the lacing system on the Icon's which are designed to accomodate that loose outside stability plastic piece on the outer side. Highly recommend the Torneo's if you want a comfortable amount of room in the forefoot area & true to size length with a comfortable ride underfoot & excellent stability otherwise.
