Yes that's what I'm talkin about I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing what the limits of 4 dimms are instead of being like, 2x is the only stable ddr5 set up!
Hey Luumi, I had a question. I used to overclock for ultimate power and numbers going up and having the fastest pc within in my specs I could. However I lost the spark after unfortunate life events. What is it about Overclocking that gets you excited to keep buying parts and submitting/trying for records. Thanks
That is a very good question. I think this all started partially as a way to learn about how computer hardware works and how to manage pc hardware related problems. I started overclocking in 2012 as I hated myself that I didn't really know much about pc hardware and I had a lot of interest in overclocking after watching videos and reading about it.
Do you have any experience with the 32gb 6400 C32 A dye dimms? Curious what potential my 6400c32 would have on this mobo. Also curious about 48gb dimms. Heard Msi is adding 24/48gb dimms for up to 192gb total. Is it possible for a bios update to add these larger dimms? Edit derp 🥴 just realized you are using 2x16gb. Wonder if your 4x16gb performance would be better or worse with 2x32gb hynix-A 🤔. Still curious about 2x24gb too. Love your videos! 🤓
Amazing Video, I wish i could figure out how to time mine to work. I have Z790 Strix with (4) DDR5 T Force that I should hit 6200. but XMP just isnt happy so been having to run without XMP. I'd be happy with even 6000 lol
Have you tried reinstalling windows? Currently I use 4 16GB CL32 6400Mhz Sticks and it doesn't give me any problems. Initially I just bought a 32GB package in x2 16Gb of Corsair dominator but upgraded to x2 more. When I installed them they gave me problems and I couldn't even boot windows 11. I reinstalled Windows with the x4 Sticks and now they are perfect for me in XPM at 6400MHZ I use them with 13700k and a Z790 Aorus Elite AX
Brothers are amazing results I just ordered a 7600 megahertz team group Delta 48 GB kit and I'm hoping it just works by default XMP on my z790 aorus master with a 13900 KS CPU if it fails at any point what numbers should I adjust in the bias to make sure that it is stable? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you so much
Have you tried any of the new Corsair 4 dimm set yet? Edit: I have the new 4x16gb corsair vengeance ddr5 6600mhz with 32 39 39 76 timings and they are hynix A dies, matched with a 13900k and z790 ace so far I can run 7000mhz 100% stable at 1.41v at 36 44 44 96 as my daily, I can get up to 7400mhz to run and pass Aida benchmarks but get random blue screens and I can get 7600mhz to post but that's it but I really haven't had a lot of time Tinker around yet I bought the sticks like the week that came out, it took a week for them to ship and when I got them it said they were made the week before in cpuid which is probably the week it took for them to ship lol but I only just upgraded to the MSI z790 Ace a few days ago from the MSI z690 carbon wifi and with the same sticks and cpu I could run at the advertised speed of 6600mhz at 1.41v with 34 39 39 28 timings after some tinkering 100% stable but couldn't for the life of me go any higher, so just upgrading my mobo helped big time
Yo bud its great to see you drive those rams 4 sticks at 7000 MHz. I dunno how to touch sensitive settings but when i just try adj my 4 sticks even 4800 5600 MHz its goin blue screen and returns 4000 MHz and im using it at that at stable so. My board is meg 790 ace dunno what to do act, just goin like that
@Luumi I see you already answered the first part of my question in a comment above. Why do you say the green are your two best sticks when you bought two sets of two. Were they not equal?
WRONG at 19:35 tWRWR_DR and tWRWR_DD are NOT important for performance beacouse those DON'T DO anything. Those are only applicable to dual rank sticks ( DR one ) or 2 sticks oer channel ( DD one ). That is one single rank memory stick per channel configuration so ALL ..._DR and _DD timings DON'T DO ANYTHING.
Absolutely love this Gen Classified! Great work, bro!
This is gold right here!

szia honna tudom letölteni azt a memoria teszt programot amit te használtál? Ha jo látom a neve memtest pro. Ez egy ingyen program? Köszi.
i agree, what difference/behavior between 4x Single Rank and 2x Dual Rank, is a very interesting question/test scenario.
Im running 2xdual rank, this video is 4xsingle, and 2xsingle, on the z690 kingpin I can 7200C31-44-38-38-28 1.48V but it's on the edge of stability

Why is your PCIE lanes cut off? I had this issue with my z690 dark also
I use old 710 GT graphics card which is only x8 device.

Start at 5600 and slowly go up until it can’t take it
Isnt ddr5 4 sticks pointless? More expensive and doesnt give any performance boost?
Go 2 sticks dual rank it's more OCable

Is it stable in ycruncher vst?
Not the 4 dimm, 2 dimm maybe, probably
It will work with 2 stick 32gb ram? 16x2
What's with 128GB? Do you want to test that too? Would be interesting.
How much better / worse are the greens, compared to the gskill kits with 2 dimm overclocking?
Still, my best two sticks are the Green OEM sticks.
I regret buying 4 dimms but my ocd doesn’t allow me to have two empty dim slots. They need to make more two dimm boards
Can you do the same with 4x32 ?
Nice vid
Not cheap to buy those just for 1 video :D .
32GB is old news, the future is 48GB!
Are these sticks better or worse for overclocking than the 5600B ones you bought from China? And are these 4800B? Thanks again!

Overclock!
On my z690 dark kingpin I have it at 7600mhz stable I’m trying to go higher but I don’t know much about ddr5

running above 1.4V on the 13900K will reduce the lifetime of your CPU.
Luumi theres stock for the z790 dark in germany but... 975€.. fk that
Yeah weird high premium by Caseking....
@@LuumiJuhani at this point im staying with the unify-X (z690)… Even the apex its a better deal at 750€
@@LuumiJuhani wait they have done a “hold my beer”, they have increased it to 1020€… and then they ask why they dont sell anything LOL

I like my z790 tachyon much better
do you know if theres any amd motherboards that can run 7600+Mhz? or is that not a thing yet
AMD can only do that on LN2
@@cybyrd9615 so i guess the best they can do without LN2 is 6400 64 gb ddr5? dual
@@KaijuUniverse_sucks yea idk if dual rank will work at 6400 but it's your best bet for getting the most performance
