Why is Severus Snape my favourite character? Simply because there was something about him that was so human, something you can't help relate to. He had a rough childhood and lived most of his life with a broken heart, and this made him come off bitter and cold, but we all know what that feels like. He even apologized to her and is shown to grow out his blood prejuidiced ways when he told the portrait of Phineas black to not call Hermione the m slur.

I am the character you are not supposed to like, he said but we love him. I raise my wand for Alan Rickman who gave us the best Severus Snape. He has beeen one of my favorite characters, mostly hurt and vulnerable inside. I can imagine what it's like to care deep inside but show otherwise out, it hurts more.
