Well technically they didn’t, they all lost family, were subjected to torture, saw horrific things, etc. It was bittersweet for them.
It hurts that the Marauders suffered terrible fates and didn't get the happy ending they deserved (expect Peter). But at least James, Sirius, and Remus are together again with Fred being their 4th member. :')
What you are saying is right.. but i think tge Marauders had a happy ending.. i mean of course it would also be a happy ending if they were all alive.. but notice i said ALL.. it wouldnt be happy if james and lily died and the others lived (Jily death is important to the storyline)...
so in conclusion: none of them deserved the life they got but at least they are together now.. (even tho it wouldve been better if they were all alive)

the marauders hogwarts lives were easier and happier that the golden trios but their endings were bad, while the golden trios hogwarts lives were difficult and their endings were good {and yes I'm going to pretend that Cursed Child doesn't exist bcs the only good thing we got out of it was Scorbus and nothing else} {still ship Scorbus tho}

Actually, I wanted to share with you that I found an amazing ff on Wattpad about the Marauders! It goes from their first to their seventh year, and now the author is writing about the Order Of the Phoenix years! It's amazing, the writer's called Pengiwen! Check it out.

Ok 2 things:
1. At 1:45, Remus's scream (whipe transforming, i'm guessing) was so realistic and heart wrenching. Amazing acting!
2. I like the "scene" from 1:59 to 2:01 that shows Remus waking up in the hospital wing, and then seeing Sirius on the ground sleeping as if he waited there all day for Remus to wake up
I love it too, they all loved each other so much (except Pettigrew) it's just so wholesome
I imagined the scream was Remus after Mary to,d him over the phone that James and Lily were dead, Sirius the one who (they thought) did it, and that he was in jail, and that Pettigrew was dead and Remus had just lost everyone he ever had in his life. Oh my god, if you haven’t read All the Young Dudes then definitely do that right now 😭 it’s the safest fucking thing

Am I the only one who comes back to watch this everyday because there is no fan fiction in the world that can make me feel the way this video does? I really would have loved to see this cast play out those characters. The way that this is going to live rent free in my head for the rest of my life.. the biggest thank you to the creator because this is beautiful and I did cry 10/10

I am most devastated from Sirius's death.... first he was a boy with a lot of live in him that would do everything (except the things against his moral)just to try how it feels but because of Pettigrew his best friends died and his life was ruined in Azkaban but he just started living again with the help of Harry and Remus and he got killed by his cousin😭😭😭

This edit first got me into the marauders and I am standing here 2 years later watching this realizing how much the marauders have affected me and made me who i am today and I can say I am braver stronger and more kind because these characters and this community of lost souls that is called a fandom have been the friends and family I needed when I had know one, so thank you for making this edit without it I don’t know if I would be alive.
