I'm back with something!
This edit has been in my external memory disk for ages, really. I'm not entirely happy with how it turned out and I cringe a bit every time I hear how Tonks's voice came out with the AI, but..... honestly I was tired to work on it! Let me know what you think.
I would like to write a little plot for this edit but I'm too lazy (AS USUAL). Just know I tend to go with canon and headcanon, so most of it should pretty easy to follow.
P.S. I'm really sorry for the quality! Watch it in small screen for a better experience.

Wow. I'm back. I've been writing about postmodernism & was super tired and now I've teared up and am glued to your video. I knew I would love it from the first scenes. The voiceovers are so, so good: especially Harry and Minerva (but also that one little inflection in Tonks' voice - when she says "bitten". It really fits her personality, so forcefully cheerful but also insecure, in a way). As always you mix quiet and sharp moments amazingly (This might be a weird detail to focus on but Flitwick waving his hand fits so well into the music. It kind of feels like a symbol for the flow of life, a counter to Voldemort shattering the shield.) And the different faces of Tonks - implying her Metamorphofagus abilities... But my absolute favourite were the interactions of Andromeda and Harry. They seem so organic and real, even though I consciously know that the scenes are cut together. They seem whole. And Teddy's grief as connecting to Harry's is so well represented...

Thank you so much! I wondered many times if you were alright and I'm glad you're back and, hopefully, well, although stressed (I guess). I'm always humbled by your long comments and the attention you have for details (some things were not intentional, like Flitwick's wand movement, but I love your interpretation of it!). I also feel reassured that you appreciate Tonks' voice experiment with the AI: at least someone thinks it's not totally horrible haha.
I hope your writing can proceed well! What are you writing for? Is it for personal interest or academic? Or maybe both? I'm writing my thesis, which is a challeging task especially for someone with zero patience and the attention span of a 2 year old. I hope you're holding on better than me anyway 😂
@@ghiires A lot of inspiration for your thesis!! My writing is academic too - I've become a history student and my university reading + writing has exploded (but the quality is getting better, so...) I've been thinking of you often. My last year was incredibly full of new experiences - good, bad, none of them easy. I was swept away and I am still at sea, but there is a lot of happiness. I hope your year has been good so far, and that the temperatures do not affect your writing too much - it is incredibly difficult to do errands in this heat and then focus on abstract things again, at least for me. And I think the unintentional elements of art are what makes it so fascinating, the things that escape our linguistic paradigms, meanings that are construed by the "audience"... And I definitely did not think the AI was very bad: I don't think I've ever heart such seamless use of it in Harry Potter videos. This technology would be great for podfics, I imagine. Propably already is... But yes, I am also stressed out, but am trying to include something joyful, unattended into every day, just go a new path and let myself be surprised. It makes monotony bearable and I can hold on to these moments without sadness, because I know something good WILL happen in some way to me.
