I'd love to hear how this album has sat with you for a few months now. It was great to see a reaction to this album from an absolute die-hard fan. I didn't catch the callbacks because I'm a newer fan still becoming familiar with their older stuff, so I was stoked to hear you say there were those callbacks. Makes me want to go back and get more into the old stuff further! Thanks, man 😊
I’m still enjoying it. I still have a lot of questions and I think it’s going to take a lot of time for me process it. It did take me over 2 years to get into iridescent.
Loathe vibes from the song Superbloom also get Radiohead vibes at 36:40 the song Daydreaming! I agree with you man this is going to take multiple listen's to get into this album a lot to digest from just a first listen but alot of really innovative ideas on this album \m/
Honestly, some of their weakest work imo. When everything else has been a consistent 9 or 10, this was a 7. Still good though 1. When the End Began 2. Everything Was Sound 3. Iridescent 4. Superbloom 5. The Night God Slept

I love the ending of the title track, reminds me very much of Make Them Suffers ethereal songs like "Ether" and "Fireworks"...
