voice actors aren't called "actors" for no reason, voicing and acting is part of their deal to make it as believable as possible.

Something I absolutely love about to voice actors of Dragon Ball, is that they make movements like they are in the movie themselves, it just looks so cool for some reason.
It’s something a lot of pro VA’s do to get in character. Kevin Conroy talks about the way Mark Hammill changes when he plays joker. Bradley Cooper did a similar thing when recording for rocket, pretending to hold a blaster.
Every talented, serious, professional voice actor knows that it doesn't matter that you're only recording audio and aren't in front of a camera. Delivering a good performance, even if its just your voice, requires you to inhabit the character, you have to be in the moment being portrayed on screen. You can't be sitting down completely still and realistically perform an intense fight. Voice actors often are often even more expressive with their face and their body language than screen or stage actors are, that's why watching them perform this scene is so entertaining, even if you were just watching them in the recording booth and couldn't see the corresponding animation.

Not going to lie, the whole "I will not let you destroy my world" scene gave me chills the first time I saw it. But seeing the true energy that Sean puts behind it just absolutely renewed that feeling. I love the passion and effort he has always put into Goku.
Sean's always put his heart and soul into Goku and there's no other voice actor better for Goku in the English dub imo than him

You need to give emotion to the voice, to feel like the character does, to think like the character and when you are in character you act like the character. It's not that easy how you put it, just giving some voice to characters

This was the time when Dragon Ball made the return which i was hyped af. After 17 years since the last movie Path to Power back in 1996 and 18 years since GT ended.
After this movie came i knew something's going to happen like another series which i was hyped and after Resurrection F came Super made it's debut. It had some rough episodes with the animation but in the last ones in the Tournament they managed to fix them.
Sean is the type of person to make even a voice crack sound freakin’ awesome.

Is it just me or what I watched this so many times I just kept on rewatching
I like how Akira Toriyama gives ridiculous power to the main cast from Z unless they get out of shape (reminderthatGokugotshotthroughthearm), nerfs Beerus every time he fights a mortal, and is only power-accurate to how it would be in the real world about the entity ruling over the existence or nonexistence of all things.
One of the few shows where seeing the voice actors makes the scene even cooler. 😋

TTGWE Sean is the only one for Goku in any Funimation dubs (Z, Kai, Gt, and Super) he passed out screaming doing SSJ4.

It amazes me, I remember as a kid watching DBZ and looking back at in once i was in my early 20s and thinking, God i wish they would just give us more. I remember when the trailer dropped for Battle of gods and i was freaking out. The idea that this video is 8 years old and that excitement i experienced happened that long ago truly has showed me that time truly does fly by fast.

DB, DBZ, and DBS are all dub masterpieces when it comes to voice actors, Funimation really puts all their effort into the Super dub because the voice actors they hire cannot be replaced without anybody noticing.
These guys can scream, a lot. This time Sabat had it easy, because Piccolo and Vegeta wasn't doing anything.
