I was shocked when I searched RUclips and the internet that there existed NO videos of Ta Mara and The Seen performing their single, "Everybody Dance". They didn't even make a music video which to me is unbelievable as the song is incredible. However, NO video, no live performances, nothing. A friend of mine found their performance from Solid Gold and sent it to me. I made a video mix using the album audio and the performance video, editing the audio to fit their shortened TV show performance. Sorry about the less than HD video quality. My friend recorded it on VHS from the original broadcast on SLP mode which is the poorest visual quality so that he could fit 6 hours on a 2 hour tape. Not a smart decision. Hope you enjoy finally seeing Ta Mara And The Scene from their debut album. - Myles

Minneapolis sound without question
I love this
I found her first album on vinyl last year I DJ’d a Prince mix with this song and other Prince like groups.
And the VOICE is a SLICE of FREEDOM to my ears! Better Days Babay!!

Wow. Thank you for posting this Solid Gold performance. I remember the American Bandstand performance but never a Solid Gold performance. This is a treasure.
