I'm only worried about one thing - security. I would like to leave my laptop on the desk all the time because I use it intermittently all day and night. So do I have to lock it in the safe instead? I don't want to unplugging it and locking it away 10 times per day.

In all fairness security is something I’ve never worried about here in Bali or Thailand…
But everyone can literally walk into any guesthouse building…
So I do understand your worry.
But from what i understand is that chances are higher in a villa since in the guesthouse there are always people.
And there is always staff available as well
that room standard is not worth $600/m, you were overcharged.

Hahahahah that is a very very very good question. I think the cats since the dog is more consistent then the cats hahah
