I have watched all your Bali videos they really helped me so much, I was telling the fixed price shop owner why he has so many Australians at his shop I said it was because of Mattie's and Bec's RUclips videos, he said he knew you both, I also told this to Norman Warung ( restaurant in Kuta) he was very happy as well, such a brilliant tip about getting a bluebird on arrival up on the departures sections, just brilliant, thanks so much
Music to our ears to hear that. We want people to come to Bali and have a good experience. Warung Norman is great , Hes such a lovely man and so humble. Have we given any tips that has not worked for you? Thanks for feedback.
Having watched this video months ago...I am in Bali 31st August. Made a huge purchase of body lotions, food and necklaces!!! Thanks for your recommendation
all brilliant tips, went everywhere that you suggested. Just loved the bluebirds went with them everywhere, no trouble at all, very professional and good price and service, just loved the tip on how to get the bluebird from departures, worked like a dream, so cheap!! Loved the Febris spa tip, the best!!
Great to hear!, Its what we do in Bali , everything in the video and it's worked well for us, Glad its been useful to you. Keep us updated and when holiday is over let us know best and worse of your holiday. Thanks for feedback.
I used to do all of my shopping at Matahari Department Store in Kuta Square - unfortunately it has closed for good. So in recent visits the only things I've purchased in Bali are Nasi gorengs and stubbies of Bintang! However will certainly make the trek to the Krisna outlet you featured. I've always been uncomfortable with haggling for a lower price - hence I prefer the fixed-price shops.
James, Your so similar to us, We do exactly like you, Don't have time to waste and try and barter all day. As like us we like our Nasi too. Worth a visit. Thanks for feedback.
Absolutely loved this place. Fantastic prices and lots of choices. The restaurant was closed when we went for a private function, but in true Bali fashion they still let us go in and have a look.❤
You are so welcome!, we hope you have a great experience in Bali , some videos can help you, be sure to reach out if we can help anytime. Thanks for feedback.
It's always on our visit list every time we go to Bali, What we can't find there then we hunt on the streets. Easy shopping and right price. Thanks for feedback.
Hi I’m Maureen and my hubby is Jimmy we are from the Uk we are in Bali now and we have gone to most of your foodie places and shops you recommend I’ve got a bag full of clothes from debbys thank you for your vids they have been a massive help to us xxx 6:22
Hi Maureen, Thankyou for lovely comment, It's great to hear people having a positive experience in Bali, Has there been a favourite food and shopping place or anywhere that been a disappointment? Glad your having a good time, as nothing worse than going somewhere and having a negative experience, other than the heat haha. Thanks for feedback.
We had breakfast in sheppys and beautiful food in the lokal all the food we had was beautiful we even found shinta . The food in Annie’s in the legion food court was gorgeous we even met Annie , her beef in black bean is to die for . We’re home today back to the cold uk weather but we’re off to Thailand in November.we will keep watching your vid thank you for your help ❤
I go to Geneva in Seminyak. Same concept. Much cheaper than the shops in the streets. I love Bali incense and Bali soap. Especially the cinamon soap that has grated cinamon, great for exfoliation.
Thanks for the tip! , we will be sure to check it out when we are in Bali next. Krisna has alot of that stuff, might be worth a look. Thanks for feedback
Hi guys. Question please...is discovery shopping mall worth visiting? Is it all high end brand shops? We're staying in Legian. Love your video adventures.
Not worth it, Low to mid end shops, You would spend 20 mins there in our opinion. Beachwalk mall and Bali Galleria more high end and expensive. We found all the malls are average overall, some worth a look but we don't usually buy much there. Thanks for compliment. Hope it helps, Enjoy Bali
Hi new subbie from Australia TFS - will be travelling to Bali in October this year - love your videos ❤ Where do you recommend buying white wine and white bubbly wine? Also can you bring wine into Bali in your check in baggage? Do you have to declare? Sorry another quick question, can you pack snacks in your checking baggage and do I have to declare? Thanks so much in advance ❤ @BecMattAdventures
Welcome Vicky!!, We appreciate the support, Regarding Wine and Alcohol , Enetering Bali is 1L per person entering and wont need to declare if you only bring 1L per person (Declare if you bring more) Yes to check luggage , store in there. Snacks no issue , only really anything raw or organic, processed snacks , No issues at all, Nothing to declare there. As to buying there will be a few options, 1st is Bintang supermarket - Has like a wine area, Carn't say we been in there but there is 1 there. Google Maps : maps.app.goo.gl/z8oGorGrpyJAFTVS6 Also i notice in Kuta there are few wine / spirits bottle shops that i walk past and likely where ever you stay good chance something could be around. Just not had alot of experience of buying that over there. Be warned though , Wine in Bali (indonesia) is very expensive compared to us. Now im no expert but if a bottle of wine is $20 here in oz, Dont be surprised you pay $60 to $100 in Bali. II might be wrong but i know its not cheap. Thanks for the lovely compliment and hopefully we can show some stuff and help you in Bali. Thanks for feedback.
We should had clarify that better now you say that. , As more a tourist outlet , It caters more to the Domestic tourists (local Indonesian) tourists, As there was bus loads of domestic tourists arriving when we were leaving. So that what we mean, Most locals don't shop at souvenir store ( Well we don't in oz) Thanks for feedback, We appreciate it.
Nothing like the street tshirts. Also very different designs especially seeing Tin Tin. Some would say cheap some would say expensive. Having a look is free. Thanks for feedback.
Thank you for Subscribing , Best to change money in Bali (if you need money , Small amount to get you started when you land can change a small amount at Bali airport, But where ever you stay in Bali , will get a better rate around there. Just always change at proper money exchanges ( Shops that have proper glass door shop front ) ( Not little money booths as alot of scams in Bali) Recommend use card and some cash, As most places will take card. Thanks for feedback.
