Making a Natural Wood Grain Fishing Lure

So I found this awesome piece of spalted wood washed up on the riverbank a while back. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is but I knew I had to make a lure making video with a natural wood grain finish out of it so I decided to go with a Crankbait.

(I make the edges of the contour with a grinder and sandpaper. I avoid breaking the wood with the scalpel,but I'm just an amateur, you're the specialist😉)
