Those two brothers care so much for each other. Guster brought his string toy to show us. That was a very well explained study of James chapter 1. Thanks Sara.

I think perhaps (I'm sorry if I'm wrong) the best way to describe how you feel is that you "dig your heels in" as they say. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak it's not that you do not want to trust in Him.
I'm the same particularly at the moment with a trial I'm experiencing. I am trying to take control and putting pressure upon myself instead of praying without ceasing. And yet it's me who has gotten myself into this situation through my own decision-making. I get disheartened when my way doesn't work and there's a lot of fear in the uncertainty. I know in my heart where I want this trial to lead.
I think as well it's important to remember that God knows the future and it's in His mighty hands! I don't want to interfere with a blessing He has ready for me. Sometimes I look at both roads and think I know the outcomes but as human beings we know nothing and even the impossible is possible for the Lord!
    ❤️

@@savedbygraceandlove Yes, I definitely dig my heels in. True. It is difficult to live into the uncertainty and ambiguity but I guess it really is just an opportunity to trust the Lord. Fear does rush in, though. So many “what ifs” in life. Thanks for sharing your heart. I’m sorry you’re going through a trial, too, but we will all keep you in prayer 🙏. Great to hear from you again. God bless!!! 💕😊😻🙏🙏💕

@Readingthebibletocats Yes it is a wonderful opportunity! In reality it is very hard. Ultimately everything is for His glory 💕
Aww thank you! And I'm touched that you recognise my return! I've been really awful recently and am getting into bad habits! I'm trying to establish a better routine once again (again and again and again!) because my spirit really needs it.
Ive missed so many videos ☹️ but there's no reason why I can't go through the archives at some point! But for now, I'm trying to watch from December 1st and keep heading in the right direction; being disciplined about it. They are definitely a blessing!! I will pray for you, I hope you are well I know you have some concerns regarding your health 🥰😺🫂❤️

@ Aw, thanks. Yes, I recognize you. You live in the UK, correct? Well, we all fall into bad habits-may you experience grace and freedom (hope you’re not feeling bad about yourself.). Hope you are not putting too much pressure on yourself. I understand that feeling, though. I wasn’t reading the Bible at all-that’s why I decided to do this channel, as a way to keep me in the Word. It has worked. Blessings!! We will keep you in prayer 🙏💕😊😻🙏

@@Readingthebibletocats I am indeed from the UK! Thank you for the reminder I really really need it. God is full of grace.
I am sure your videos have also helped many people keep in the Word on a day to day basis too!
I should also say I've been watching your videos on the TV recently (didn't use a TV for a long time and even now it's used very little) so my cat now sees Gus and Henry 'on the big screen' and it REALLY perks her interest especially for Henry (who might have an admirer). To the point that when it had finished, she was walking around yowling and going up to the TV as if to say "where's he gone? Hurry, put another one on then" 🤣👀😻

@ Oh my goodness, that’s adorable!!! I would love to see a picture of your kitty watching Henry on TV!!! 🥰😂😻💕. I’m asking the community to send me pics of their pets watching the channel (to my PO Box). But no pressure at all! That just is too cute!! Thanks for sharing it!! 😊💕

Shalom Sara! That was a great in-depth study. The kitties are so adorable! I agree that the book of James is written to Messianic Jews in the diaspora. I’m not sure how replacement people try to get away with twisting the Word. The one study note from the first Bible that said that certain letters were Catholic was not right. I think I remember bringing out another time that there are five epistles in the New Testament that were specifically written to Jewish believers because of either persecution or false teachings. They are Hebrews, James, 1 & 2 Peter, and Jude. Also, unfortunately the early “church fathers” were very antisemitic, and replaced a very beautifully Jewish faith with an unrecognizable “religion.” A burden the Lord has given me has been to teach against replacement theology. It can be very disheartening. Oh my goodness, here I go again on a rabbit 🐰 trail! I’m so thankful for you, and that you come against replacement theology.
Considering trials joy has always been a hard one for me too. I understand it results in our perseverance, but it’s sometimes hard to accept our circumstances. I do believe that accepting our circumstances as they are leaves the Lord room to bless us with His leading and His precious Shalom which is so needed in these times. We are all works in progress. Oh, I just say Yah-cove for the Hebrew word for James. They of course anglicized that too 🤦🏻‍♀️Oy vey! I’m continuing to pray for your health and for the Lord’s peace to be upon you. I pray you have a blessed evening in Yeshua, and me and Esther send you and the sweet kitties lots of hugs! ❤️🐶😻😻🤗🙏💕

I love, love your rabbit trails! Thanks for gifting us with them! You can teach us a lot! I know the church fathers were antisemitic…. I seem to remember that, too. 😟. I’m glad you feel called to speak out against replacement theology; I do, too. I feel like God put that on my heart when I first became a believer(many moons ago). Also, Augustine was, what I would call, Neoplatonic which really does not jive well with the Hebrew Scriptures 😟 (that’s a rabbit trail in and of itself). Keep taking us s down those rabbit trails, Robbin!! 💕❤️💕. Thank you for praying for me and my kidneys 🫘🙏💕. It means so
Much to me (and to my kidneys 😊) Hugs and blessings to you and sweet Esther and Steve! 🥰😻🐶😻💕🙏💕

@ You are such a blessing Sara! I’m so thankful for you and am continuing in prayer. 🙏🩷🫘 Yes, I am definitely a rabbit 🐰 trail person 😜 I think a big part of why it’s so important for us to teach people against replacement theology is because we are Jewish. It hits us the hardest. Much shalom, hugs and blessings in Yeshua! ❤️🐶😻😻🤗🙏💕

@robbinkaplan8451 Aw, thank you, Robbin!!! You made my morning! I think replacement theology
does not hold up, Biblically, at all. Keep teaching us Robbin! You have the gift of teaching and we all appreciate it!! Treasuring your prayers for my kidneys 🫘🥰😻🐶😻🙏💕

"Accepting things as they are leads us toward a sense of peace and calm. It is normal to feel angry, sad, or disappointed when you first acknowledge that you have no control over a difficult situation." -- easier said than done. but just some words of wisdom on the internet 😇 You may be a bit stubborn like I am 🥰 I guess it's our lesson to be learned. 🙏🏻☮🫘🫘🙏🏻

Great quote! Thank you! Yes, I am deceptively stubborn… I don’t present (outwardly) like a stubborn person but I think deep down I may be 🤷‍♀️🫘🙏🫘🙏
