There's a lot of boxes a grower needs to tick before worrying about this.

Hi! I live in an apartment which doesn't get a lot of sunlight (north-facing windows). I'm looking to grow plants and am interested in knowing if I could possibly use UV in my grow room. Could you please let me know if I could use the ONLY UV lights in my grow room with barely any sunlight? I am thinking of planting smaller plants like tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce, microgreens, etc. Would each plant require a different type of light? Are there any lights that include all UVA-B-C? Please let me know! :)

Mr. Tyler, do you what happens when you grow a plant with light minus the uv band? In the book Bug Out by Noah Mann, after the blight that destroyed all plant life in earth, an eccentric professor found that plants grown in a greenhouse with light without the uv band specifically uvb survived despite the blight. Just humor me Mr. Tyler, what do you think?

Could one just add a black light in with their regular grow lights to get a UV boost ? I wanna add some stress color to my succulents. Seems just adding a black light strip into the mix of my grow lights might help .

Any info on ideal uW/cm2 UV exposure? Don't over do it is kind of vague.
We have to figure this out, I go buy a UVB bulb this week, I will come back here when I have hit the "too much" in my setup.

No more dangerous than sitting under a powerful led light constantly looking upward. You also forgot to mention how much of the uv light is filtered on hps due to the glass.
Yea, through any glass; mh, hps, cmh, etc. (other than specially made to *allow* uv to pass through).

That's a shit burple led light. It has a tiny tiny tiny tiny fraction of 1% of UVA light. This tool sucks at relaying information. Almost as bad as his fucking fashion sense.
