No, there engine in the NSX is not a j32, depending on the year its a c30a or c32b. The J is an accord/odyssey motor. They were 270 and 290 Brake horsepower respectively.
i always remember nsx sound for a video game called "Gran Turismo 1" and has a sound so unique that no car has equal ... and its my dream of car, but "no money, no car"
The R33 GTR is 4WD, as is the R34GTR. GTS is RWD The power to front wheels (GTR) is variable (it has a torque split gauge on dash). Drive to front can be disabled though.

As in F1 getting that extra power and performance from less is where the innovation, technology and overall talent is.

AWD has the advantage on hard acceleration. All 4 tires grip the road, but when turning, it suffers from a bit of understeer.

Both drivers make it an awesome race. The SKYLINE however has the massive amount of HP to top the NSX. The NSX has the cornering. Is the NSX n/a or f/i?
The NSX driver almost lost it at the end of the second lap. You can tell that the back end began to swing out as he was passing the R33 on the outside.

its not too difficult to modify GTR's to get power out of them. For an extreme example look at JUN GTR with 1000hp. Damn that was intense racing though
The skyline is building a infamous reputation in the states now for it's under steering. Even though I love the car, I do have to admit that when I see it race against more modern designed cars it is outmatched in the handling department. It's a shame that Nissan changed the design so much for the new GT-R because that car is an ace in all areas yet it has erased it's legendary identity why did Nissan do it? They've erased to much of it's looks and changed the motor why? :(
NSX has amazing aerodynamics and if you look that skyline has his drive settign to RWD and most the turns if you pay attention hes drifting them lol. NSX is keeping his power to the ground.

I saying that the skyline is known for understeer which hinders its performance. I saying that Nissan shouldn't have erased the identity of the skyline with this new GT-R or gotten rid of the RB26 and just improved the car majorly on the inside and somewhat on the outside. The car is somewhat ugly now, but it's performance matches European cars now.

R33 was the first production car who broke the 8 min. lap record on nurburgring.. r33 is one of the fastest production cars ever made. it has only 280hp and it lapped the nurburgring in 7:59 min. and tuned it kicks ass. go look r32 vs r33 vs r34 vs r35.
any mid mounted engined car is going to out perform in cornering against a front engine vehicle. but horsepower will usually win for speed. thats why its called RACING. 1 has better speed.... 1 has better handling. title says racing, NOT DRAG RACING.
i love my skyline.. same shape and colour...tis sexual... just deck it on coilovers and strut braces the get some 235's at the front and 255's at the rear the go but dont compleatly hammer it until ure out of the corner

The one in the video doesnt seems to be supercharged of turbochgd. Its problably a less than 350hp engine. And as you can see in the video the SKILINE IS GOOD AT STRAIGHT LINE, BUT IT CAN'T GET AWAY FROM A MR CAR LIKE THE NSX IN THE CORNERS, EVEN BEENG MORE POWERFUL!
If you watch F1 you know Honda is giving you more technology and as close to an F1 car than other cars which is only fast using old technology. Sure a car can go faster than an F1 in a straight line with a larger engine and forced induction (eg. Veyron) but that is not inspiring when you compare that to an F1 Veryron = W12 with Quad Chargers F1 = V8 NA Compare and see which one is more inspiring.
The skyline like other cars generating power from forced induction & large displacement engines (eg. skyline, wrx) to me are not inspiring. Anyone can make more power by making a larger engine, putting a bigger turbo or more turbo's. Thats a no brainer.

you guys seem to forget. the r33 has a rb26det making 280hp. the nsx has a j32 making 274hp. not much difference. jama rules 280hp max till 2004.

the best NSX's are all N/A. Not as much torque, but a lot lighter, that's just one reason the NSX is faster through the corners.
