    I agree completely.
I'm virtually certain that the dome covering will significantly increase the life of these materials. UV causes the acceleration in outgassing in hydrocarbon type materials like rubber and neoprene. This is for sure the #1 cause of deterioration.
A little useless nerding out on the situations that result in less damage to the materials, but still cause damage over time.
High temperatures. Basically, materials like these will last longer at 70⁰F than at 150⁰F. Also accelerating outgassing.
    2) Ozone. Not ozone in the stratosphere, but ozone basically at ground level. We breathe O², but ozone is O³. The third oxygen atom is unstable in ozone and will break off and join with one of the carbon atoms in the hydrocarbon structure of the rubber or neoprene material. The resulting gas is CO. What's left of the ozone is plain ol oxygen (O²). The removal of the carbon atoms makes the remaining material prone to accelerated outgassing.

Nice work! You should have that done in no time, looks like they'll last much longer than the original, thank you Sir!

This is a pretty cool video Taddy. I was wondering if you use the number 12 because you were basically just filling in the gap where the water was leaking through on the number tens. Also, not using an impact drill, and instead, a cordless drill, I would presume because of the high pressure, is a good nugget of information to have. It’s amazing just how the selection of wrong drill such as the impact, would affect the performance of the screw installation. Thank you for the advice.

Thank you brother I really appreciate you watching the video and yes. I used a larger screw to fill the gap and grab the wood.

Hey bro that's the first time I have seen the screws on the flat side of the sheeting we here in the Caribbean screw down the sheets on the homp.cause the spot that I saw the screws on your roof is were the water runs down so eventually it will leak .the raised part of the sheeting is a smaller section so less water runs there and therefore less chances of it leaking hope this helps try it
